Pleasantly surprised! Don’t let its humble exterior fool you - the First & Last Stop Bar is a wonderful and friendly neighborhood establishment! My friends and I stopped by on a Thursday night in April and met the lovely owner, Caroline, who was sitting at the end of the bar while her daughter poured the drinks. We will be back!
This place ain’t exactly the Ritz Carlton or the Waldorf Astoria, but nevertheless, it’s a fun, funky and down to earth bar, complete with a regulation size pool table tucked away in back, humongous burgers (which really should not be consumed in their entirety by senior citizens like me (*urp* (the next day, even))), and a few weeks back, on a Sunday evening, I believe it was, the place was jammin’ and hopping to the beats of a motley crew of drummers and percussionists...
