I had purchased the sweet and sour chicken with the shrimp fried rice dinner meal. The chicken was plan making it taste dry. The rice was ok. Overall, nothing was special about the food.

We telephoned a to-go order for 4 people. The employee, Mark, who took our order was so bored with me telling him our order of 4 entrees & 2 appetizers the it was actually quite rude. No surprise, our order was wrong! When I spoke to employees about the problem they apologized & one even stated that she overheard Mark & agreed that he was "off." However, when I spoke with the manager she condescendingly advised that I should have ordered what I wanted. I spent $97.52 to be told that I am an idiot.
Tiki Bowl $24 NOT $12.60. Tiki bowl was apx. 8” diameter, was mostly ice, and held 10-12 oz of liquid. When we got the bill we got charged $24 for the Tiki Bowl. When we inquired about it, the waiter said the Tiki Bowl was a large. Tiki Bowl for two, is $12.60 on their website. We were only two people. The $36 whole Peking Duck was sliced in the kitchen and not served table side. The duck and cocktail were both delicious. We celebrated our anniversary with lunch at Five Happiness on Sat. Dec.7th 2024. 4 stars instead of 5 because we feel disappointed in the up charge.
I've been a patron for over 35 years. The most unsatisfying meal. I called in Order over phone for pickup. It was ready on time and hot when I arrived home. I had ordered the garlic sauce to be spicy. It was so bland, much more bland than when regularly ordered. The eggplant was in long stringy masses and quite bitter. It was unpleasant to eat. The vegetable plate was fine. This is not the first lack luster meal, but definitely the most undesirable. I doubt I'll return soon, if ever.

This used to be one of THE best Chinese places in the city. Went there today with my parents and got the crab Rangoon, which was still good. Also the wonton soup was great. The boneless chicken though was not even close to what it used to be. My mom and I couldn't even eat half of ours it was so tough. It used to be way different and I had not been hear in a couple of years. Maybe I'll try it 2 years from now and see if that changes.
