Top spot. Bit off the track but worth the visit. Stumbled on it next to WW2 museum. Reasonable price, tasty food, good service.
The shrimp and grits were delicious.
We were greeted the minute we walked in and seated. The staff and food were amazing will definitely be back. 10/10
Machine broken - unable to get ordered drink. Out of cheese - appetizer not available to order Two tries to get plain noodles and butter for kid's meal...
We had a reservation, showed up and the restaurant was basically empty. The hostess informed us it would be able 10 minutes before our table was ready. We waited for almost 40 minutes until we finally asked what the hold up was and she informed us we wouldn't be getting a table - no reasoning was given. We asked to sit at the bar and instead of encouraging it, the bartender told us the service would be really slow and we likely wouldn't get food or drinks in a timely manner compared to if we were at a table. So we left. Didn't get to try the food because the wait staff didnt seem to want to serve us.
Food was outstanding and our waitress was top notch. I loved everything about it! I will definitely come again
Just visited and we all loved our lunch. We almost didn’t come in as it didn’t have great curb appeal. Glad we did as the Caesar Salad with the garlic chicken was fabulous. My friends loved the burgers and fries. Service was quick which was great as we were on break from a conference at the Higgins hotel. Highly recommend.
During lunch hours the service was top notch and quick. The food was great, lots too choose from so we got a few things to split/try. Everything was amazing!
This place is so cute! I love the inside! They have a huge outdoor balcony where bands can come play as well. We ordered the pepperoni pizza or flatbread and it was okay. We had the “Blue Drank and some Froze’s and those were all good! But mostly sugar so we had to get an extra shot of vodka to put on top and mix it in. Service was great. We sat right at the bar. She always checked in on us.
The food was good. Wenhad one issue with pasta needing to be hot but it was taken care of quickly. The restaurant was fairly empty and we still had to wait a minute for the signature drink that was order but Joshua was very apologetic and an overall great server. He took time to answer questions about the menu, and he was very polite.

This was my first experience at this restaurant and it was a wonderful visit. Normally it is too packed to even get in but on this day it was relatively empty of which I was grateful. My friends and I all were very satisfied with the food and service. We decided to sit outside and was given a seat in a nice shaded area with a fan blowing on us which was appreciated for the warm day. Devin was our server and she was sure to follow up and keep our bottomless drinks full. The meals came out pretty swiftly to our surprise but it wasn't lacking in heat nor flavor. We were checked on by other staff members as well when our glasses could use a refill. We also weren't rushed to leave when we were done eating. The drinks continued to come. I would definitely return.
The place is large, and there's ample street parking and paid lots close by. The food, unfortunately, was mediocre at best.
4 adult chaperones and 20 youth were traveling to NOLA for a Youth Gathering for our church. With 20,000 others in attendance, we were one of many looking for a local dinner spot. I reached out to 3 restaurants in advance and Flamingo a Go Go was the first one to return my email. Aubry took our reservation, told me about their daily specials, and suggested that we pre-order (so when the restaurant made their bulk food order they could be sure to get everything they'd need for us...and the other groups -- what a great idea!). I checked out their menu online (in addition, Aubry emailed me the menu highlighting the specials and special diet options like gluten free). I printed up the items that were within our budget and had my kids write down their food and drink orders during the bus ride to NOLA. I emailed Aubry on Saturday with all of our orders, so she could order Sunday. She was WONDERFUL to deal with and touched base with me several times to make sure we were still coming and to suggest that I text her when we were on the way so they could start our order. When we arrived, our table was ready and the drinks started coming out soon thereafter. Within 15 minutes, our food orders arrived. Alan Jay was the server and was GREAT! Each order was correct (we had a couple special requests)! We had our food before another large group of youth had even ordered (thanks to Aubry's suggestion of pre-ordering!). The food was phenomenal...everyone loved it (youth AND adults!). I would return in a heartbeat the next time I'm in town. Way to go Aubry and Flamingo a Go Go!!! Stellar food and customer service!
I took a group of 7 young ladies for dinner. They were very patient with us and let us each pay separately which was very nice. They were very busy and also let us make a reservation - which was super helpful. I would recommend this restaurant.
If you're a tourist visiting, don't let this put you off about the place because it's worth a visit. They;'re not great at the hostess portion. Once you get seated it's a good experience and they can usually accomodate large groups on the fly which is not usual for New Orleans. We went about 1045am on a Sunday and had a reservation but we stood at the podium without being treated by anyone for about 10 min. Once we were sat the server was attentive and happy and the all 5 diners were pleasantly surprised by the food being pretty good and it came out to the table in a good amount of time.
