You could call me a fried chicken fanatic. Anywhere I go I have to order it and above all this is the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in my entire life. Hands-down, wings up, the best chicken sandwich ever.

Got the lemon pepper wings and fries, wings were hot and fresh but they had way too much lemon pepper seasoning, I couldn’t finish them. Fries were ok a bit soggy.

Was in town for Jazz Fest and checked out this food truck parked right by King and Queen Emporium on Bayou Rd. Ran into an old friend who was already posted eating their vegan chicken tenders and offered me one with buffalo ranch and it was delicious! I decided to try a vegan chicken sandwich dressed with slaw: the texture was great and the flavor with the fresh slaw was really satisfying. I also tried their mac and cheese and I savored every bite. The service was also excellent: the staff is kind, responsive, and fun to talk to. Definitely check out Flippin Birds when you're in New Orleans!
