I always say, judge a business by the toilet paper they provide. Flora's provides top notch toilet paper, complementing the top notch food, drinks, and atmosphere! The most enjoyable night I have had in years was spent sitting outside the shop with the neighborhood locals, chatting, drinking coffee and tea (for me), and learning. If you dont go to this shop it is sincerely your loss! Ali and Vashti (the owner and calico cat) are simply wonderful in a world of not so wonderful!

I didn’t prefer this coffee shop.
Cold breakfast burrito, the indoor atmosphere was off. I will not return.

I have to say one of my best experiences here, every morning I went to pick up a sausage, egg and cheese wrap. Something about the flour tortilla homemade taste was so delicious and the pastries and muffins were great to grab and go. You could even reheat the breakfast wraps, and they were still just as good. There was the sweetest girl at the register that was so kind and curious about where we were from the whole atmosphere is very comfortable ,cute décore home atmosphere and deliciousness . you feel a part of the community when sitting at one of those tables.

Beautiful music, great espresso, excellent cat.
I have been coming to this coffee shop almost every day for some time now. They make great drip coffee and the price is an exceptionally reasonable. I am from seattle and I know what good coffee is. I have never had a single complaint or inconvenience about their service. It's immaculate. Four days ago I showed up when they were opening and I needed help and they allowed me to use their phone and gave me coffee. This is a place that truly supports artists. They don't just say it. They treat me like every other paying customer. And that's what i've really needed right now. Gratitude would not begin to scratch the surface. I honestly really don't know what to say , and I don't want to say anything that sounds disingenuous. I wanted to leave this review here to whom to may concern. Thank you. 1000 times more, thank you. I have a lot to lose and I still have it because you guys helped me. I would have preferred to say this in person but I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable or come off the wrong way. I look forward to getting to know everyone and being known by them.
To all of you, sincerely, the man in black with a shopping cart full of guitars and a cute black dog. As they say here, IYKYK.

Im from texas but my husbands family is from N.O. This quaint little shop is adorable. They have a shop cat which, I absolutely love. The dark roast coffee is to die for. I have not tried thier eats yet but they all look great. The desserts are amazing. Blueberry oreo pie, great, tiramisu lovely, cream puff was good, chocolate chip cookie was good but def a couple of days old. Great in coffee though. Try them out!

The most immaculate local vibes
Excellent experience at this breakfast café. The place is very cozy, clean, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, well prepared, and full of great flavor. We especially want to highlight the server, who was also the cook — he did an amazing job, preparing the food with great care and providing exceptional service, always friendly and attentive to every detail. Without a doubt, a place we highly recommend and would gladly return to.

Feels like this place has gone downhill. I’ve been a fan for over a decade, but I’m not sure I can go back anymore. First smell upon entering is urine and overall feels very dirty…discomforting to see cat litter box in the kitchen on the way to the bathroom. Baristas were friendly but the coffee here is not well made—they used a giant paper cup for a small cappuccino. Some coziness remains but mostly has evolved to dinginess. Outdoor seating is nice still.

The coffee here was the WORST I have ever had. It was cold, watered down, just disgusting & our Barista who was working on Christmas was so unhappy & gave us attitude like it was our fault. That truly was the worst coffee I have ever had!!! We dumped it out and vowed NEVER to RETURN. Don’t waste your money or time on this place, unless you want to see the adorable orange cat. 🐈

Walked into this cozy spot for a sweet treat. Loved seeing the small tables of friends, gathered, actually having conversations with each other. A man played lovely on the piano in the back room. Cake kitties traced their way under many chair legs and tables. The barista was really nice and welcoming. I ordered the cinnamon roll (delicious and well priced) and grabbed an Anti-Gravity (local paper) to read.
This place has such a chill vibe. A true staple of the neighborhood. Outside you may some some guys playing chess or reading the paper. Plants abound! Will definitely be back to try one of their sandwiches behind the deli. Visited: 12/8/2025.
