Food was very good. There was a piano player and a singer, which was very nice, but extremely loud at times.

The food was very average, the service was poor (although the workers were pleasant), our food took a long time to arrive.

We stayed an extra night just to try fried chicken night at the Fountain Lounge. It was worth it! Mind you it is only fried chicken with sides, cole slaw, red beans and rice, & biscuits. The chicken was crispy and crunchy with a bit of a kick. We even liked the sides. The coke slaw was creamy with a nice sour tang. Good red beans and rice. That's the opinion of my wife who grew up here. Delicious honey butter biscuits. In terms of value, $26 for 4 pieces plus the sides. You can get another basket of chicken for $12. To me it was a great value and yummy fried chicken. Is there better fried chicken? Sure. Willie Mae Scotch House or Dooky Chase but, you're going to pay more. Also, you gotta like getting good fried chicken then just chilling at one of the best hotels in the city, The Roosevelt.

The restaurant (or the server) overcharged me for the breakfast. I charged a total of $95.31 to my room, but it showed up as $104.17 on my hotel bill.

Good was good! Drinks were stout, and the atmosphere was top notch. Servers didn't necessarily check on us often, but, often enough. One bummer was one of us had to have our back to the piano, which was disappointing.

I would strongly like if they would add some other starch vs French fries Boiled new potatoes? Baked or mashed Paste even Mac & cheese

Lovely waitress! She was friendly and went out of her way to make our graduate feel special! Thank you!

No vegan option on the menu.
We had to remove both feta and egg from the avocado toast and still be charged $17 for this (before tax and tips). There was barely any avocado on the toast (see picture) and they charged us an extra $10 for a side of avocado.
The breakfast potatoes were average at best. Not cut, nor properly cooked, nor tasty.
Honestly that was the worst meal we had so far in New Orleans, and it came from our apparently 5* hotel !

The service was sloppy. After a long wait, when I asked where was the extra avocado, the waitress gave me the pearl : “they have to cut the avocado and slice it”. Sometimes you just have to laugh.

Edward was fantastic. A great host and waiter for my family and me. When he realized it was my daughter's birthday, he went straight to the piano to play songs for her. It was a great memory for my family.

From the moment we walked into the Fountain Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria in New Orleans, the service was outstanding. It’s rare to have an experience where every team member you encounter is exceptional, but this was one of those rare instances. The staff went above and beyond, creating a seamless and memorable evening.

A special thank you to Liam (Host), Thedriana (Server), Ronnie (Food Runner), and Eddie (Server) for their attentiveness and hospitality. Their service truly elevated the experience.

The live music added to the ambiance, and the atmosphere exuded understated elegance—classic New Orleans charm at its finest. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink or a full meal, this is a spot worth visiting for both its refined setting and impeccable service. Highly recommend!

Great food and service as usual. Sam, the manager, was engaging and attentive. Jimmy, the waiter was wonderful. Can't wait to go back

This was not a great experience. Service was slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty. We ordered an appetizer and asked to start with their beat salad. Took forever to come out and then they brought everything out at once - app, salad, and entrees. Paid a lot to be very disappointed. For a Valentine's Day dinner you would think they would be better prepared.
