Wow, that was a top meal for our visit to NOLA. This place is unassuming, but don’t be fooled, you are getting a gourmet experience. Miranda, our server was so kind and attentive even when the restaurant filled up and became busy. Can’t wait to tell others and return for ourselves!

I had an excellent experience at Fritai. The food was outstanding—rich flavors, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. The griot was tender and crispy, the rice and sides were on point, and the sauces tied everything together beautifully. Portions were generous and presentation was great.

I was born and raised in Haiti and went to Fritai with an open mind—and they did not disappoint. Without hesitation, I can say it was some of the best, if not the best, food I had while visiting New Orleans. I was initially a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews from fellow Haitian, but I’m so glad I decided to experience it for myself.
