LOVED our meal here. We got the Fritai appetizer platter for $20 and 2 sides of rice and smothered greens and literally could not finish it all. Double fried pork, greens and the plantains were standouts. But everything was fresh and delicious. Loved the clairin cocktails too

Wow, that was a top meal for our visit to NOLA. This place is unassuming, but don’t be fooled, you are getting a gourmet experience. Miranda, our server was so kind and attentive even when the restaurant filled up and became busy. Can’t wait to tell others and return for ourselves!

I had an excellent experience at Fritai. The food was outstanding—rich flavors, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. The griot was tender and crispy, the rice and sides were on point, and the sauces tied everything together beautifully. Portions were generous and presentation was great.
