The atmosphere is a bit jarring. It’s in an older part of town off the beaten path. But what is lost in aesthetics is made up in the food. I love that nothing is over, salted or seasoned. The ribs fell off the bone, and the pork chop was incredibly moist and tender, and the lady who helped me was the sweetest.

This nolonger a dine in, it carryout orders. The greens were delicious and cooked island style with no meat. I truly enjoyed my greens plate 🍽. I would recommend the food.

I got wings (super small), cabbage (overcooked and very very very soft) and Mac n cheese (great texture and look but tasted sweet like nutmeg or cinnamon was in it). The service was great and the space clean which are the main reasons for the high rating. However the food was just ok. I will give them another try because the ribs looked juicy and tender....and hoping the sweet Mac was an oversight and not the usual recipe.

Over all the food tastes good and worth your money. It's a few things I don't care for 1) the food is taken out only 2) there's no signs stating that there's an extra charge when using your card 3) the person doesn't mention there's an extra charge when using your card 4) the bathroom was blocked off

Sorry I can't add a photo. As soon as we sat down we devoured it. I had the turkey necks, greens, cornbread, red beans and rice. Every bite was a delight! This should be a national chain. My husband and daughter had the catfish. The pieces were huge! If you ain't been, you need to come. Everything was delicious. My husband said the only problem he had was the fork they gave us wasn't big enough.

The service was great, wonderful people work there. The food was amazing!!! The fried fish, yams, corn bread and mustard greens were delicious. Great hole in the wall to eat at.
