Over all the food tastes good and worth your money. It's a few things I don't care for 1) the food is taken out only 2) there's no signs stating that there's an extra charge when using your card 3) the person doesn't mention there's an extra charge when using your card 4) the bathroom was blocked off

Sorry I can't add a photo. As soon as we sat down we devoured it. I had the turkey necks, greens, cornbread, red beans and rice. Every bite was a delight! This should be a national chain. My husband and daughter had the catfish. The pieces were huge! If you ain't been, you need to come. Everything was delicious. My husband said the only problem he had was the fork they gave us wasn't big enough.

We almost didn't see the place because the sign is faded, and it's on the bottom floor of what looks more like an apartment building. It's definitely got a very clean, but hole-in-the-wall family restaurant atmosphere. We ordered a seafood platter, greens and smothered pork chop plate, and a half lemonade-half sweet tea drink for very inexpensive prices for the amount of food and quality we got. It was a very good value.
It was my boyfriend's first time eating at the restaurant, and he has lived in NOLA 15 years and ate soul food growing up. He said the yams reminded him of plates brought to his family at holiday time from Black southern families. The fried fish was crispy and flaky. As soon as I tasted the greens, I said, "That's what greens are supposed to taste like." The pork chop was so tender, eating it with a spork was no problem. I will definitely be back to try their ribs and fried chicken. If I had to cater an event or wanted to get take out for a family party, I would not hesitate to order food from here.
All the staff were very friendly! Loved it!
Parking: A few places to park out front and on the side
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of clean tables when we were there midday on a weekday.

We got here just as the dining room was closing. We ordered the neckbones and they were very tender and delicious. The red beans and rice were good also.
