I was in New Orleans for a conference and stopped by Gianna for dinner with a friend. We had such a lovely time with great food and a great atmosphere.
It's a beautiful restaurant with plenty of space for dining. We stopped by during the week so reservations were easy to make. We loved the ambiance and it's great for catching up with friends or even a date night.
The service was great! Our server was charming, made us feel welcomed and took good care of us.
For dinner we shared a pizza and meatballs and I had the lamb lasagna. Everything hit the spot especially the lamb lasagna. I was a little nervous about the mushrooms since they aren't my favorite, but I really enjoyed it! I would order it again and would highly recommend. The drinks were also really good.
Gianna is be great for a full meal or for after work drinks. Overall we had a great time and I will definitely return next time I'm in New Orleans.

Nice upscale Italian in the CBD. Excellent food and service. We ate on the small roadside patio, so it was a bit noisy, but less so than the loud main room. It probably makes sense to eat family style here, as several of the entrees are large.

I was disappointed with this Italian spot. The portions felt unusually small for the prices they charge, leaving me underwhelmed by both value and flavor, and the presentation wasn’t appealing. The service was very slow, which amplified the frustration, especially since it was a slow dinner time. While the food showed some potential, it didn’t quite meet expectations or justify the price tag. There are better options nearby that offer more generous portions and faster, more attentive service. Would I return? Likely not.

The service at this restaurant is truly immaculate, as are the vibes. I have allergies to gluten, shellfish, treenuts and fin fish - I am a difficult customer. Kristin handled it with so much decorum, she even brought me a menu hand marked by her and the chef to make it clear what I could and could not have. She was so friendly and didn't make me feel bad at all for my allergies. On top of the phenomenal and reasonably priced food.. I'd give them 1000 stars if I could. You NEED to try this place.

I ordered thee Campanelle Pesto Alla Trapanese pair with the Farm Green salad and a wonderful Espresso martini! There was also a Wood Oven Fired Puccia bread I ordered as an app and the Paesano potatoes was divine!
Overall good dinner experience. Table service prompt and friendly. Marinated beets was a standout. Very refreshing. Brown butter mushroom pasta was also good. Price reasonable.
