I have been waiting for Gong Cha to open nearby. This was actually really nice. The place felt clean and cozy, and the staff were super friendly. I got the wintermelon milk tea with foam, and also tried the brulee brown sugar — both were really good. The boba was soft and chewy, not hard or old, and the sweetness was just right. It wasn’t doing too much, it was just genuinely good. I’d definitely come back.

So i don’t know who was working today but this lady that worked here seemed to me older/middle aged and she was being so weird with my order. I asked to sub the pearls for star jelly and she said they aren’t the same price but they are…and she said the drink comes like that and you can’t change it…the drinks are not premade and you can’t change it how you like especially if I did not want the pearls and I have in other locations changed it to something else and I had to pay more money for a drink I normally get with the topping substitution…took the joy out of my drink.

Such a fun atmosphere, free games for the kids to play. All orders placed electronically and very quick service. They have board games and there is no time limit for hanging out.

Yes!!! Real deal tea/boba. If you follow my page, you see i am a boba gal. Tea/boba should be done a consistent way, always showcasing quality flavors and Gong Cha did not disappoint. Plus, the restaurant was clean and well kept. The menu was simple and easy to follow. Staff was friendly and parient. 5/5.

We are so happy and appreciative that there was a high quality boba shop in an unexpected location in New Orleans. The bubble waffles were warm and crispy and the boba drinks were on point! Look at how happy the kids are! All smile!

Lovely unique and contends for best in the city. Gong cha is a stand alone, the tea quality surpasses almost every competitor out there right now. Highly recommend every single drink I’ve received and that’s most of the menu. I’m in love !

People should stay away from this brand. I won a 1-year free boba drink ticket back in January and they have not kept their promised sending me the cards I can use to get free boba at their store, despite that I have reached out sending them the winning ticket and confirming my mail address. They lied they had sent the cards to the store where I got the ticket and would send me an email letting me know when I can get to the store to pick it up. No email nothing has ever heard since. Shame on big cheating corp.
Update: after I posted this complaint, they reached out asking me an insulting question ““Can you confirm if you picked up your cards?”. They know very well that no notification was ever sent. If they had sent it, they’d have a record. Asking me this now is just a lazy way to shift responsibility back to the customer — a tactic that’s dishonest and unacceptable.

First time in New Orleans, but I’m a boba fanatic, and I can honestly say I’d drive all the way back for two days just for this boba. The pearls were fresh, and my drink was delicious with the perfect ratio of sugar! They also have a very nice atmosphere/indoor decoration and a game machine that you can use for free. They have a large menu with a bunch of unique drinks I don’t see in any other boba shops, I got to try something new for once and it was refreshing. They also have food if you’re in the mood. Overall a great experience. I wish you guys had a location in Albuquerque. ^^
