First off, Boba (the orange ?) is sooo cute. Boba makes me want to be a cat person! :’)Second, the drinks here are sooo good. I wish there was one closer to me, but then it might be a bad thing. I’d be here everyday. I love that I can walk up to the kiosk and order. I find it convenient and easy. Their tea quality is amazing! I can actually taste the tea in a milk tea. Plenty of seating and they provide charging cables for your devices!

The atmosphere is very nice and the location is pretty great with being on Magazine right by the corner of Louisiana. BUT, the orders do not come automatically with boba balls. You have to pay an EXTRA $0.75. I'm not sure if this is just my personal experience but I thought it was safe to assume that my expensive ($6.25 ) drink would automatically come with such an important component. But, maybe it's on me for overlooking. Just disappointing but the drinks themselves are yummy and the staff is nice. My friend enjoyed his drink but says the boba balls are a bit small.

So good! I went in for a bubble tea and was really happy with their selection. Lots of jelly options as well. The interactive order station with pictures made choosing from their many options easy without the pressure of holding up a line (3 stations available). Service was quick and efficient. Lots of tables, games and a generally nice vibe for reading, working or meeting friends.

Absolutely amazing! The drinks are phenomenal. So far, my girlfriend and I tried the strawberry yogurt, creme brûlée brown sugar milk tea and Earl grey milk tea (you can tell we’re big fans of Gong Cha ?) all the flavor, the smell and the after taste of tea just lingers there through every sip. Their tea quality is truly the best! I also love the atmosphere there. Bright, chill, and cozy even with the thunderstorm outside. They have self-order kiosks, so that’s a huge plus for introverts, or people who need some time to decide what they want. Their cute little orange cat might as well be the best thing they could deliver to customers never fails to cheer me up every time I come in. Also, the first time I saw the arcade game, it just brought back so many childhood memories that I treasure. What a lovely place! Everybody should give it a try. Oh, I promise this is the last thing, I almost forgot to mention how great their customer service is. They’re super friendly and helpful. Come support them whenever you’re in the area.Keep up the good work! Go Gong Cha ?

Has quickly become my go-to spot for boba. Very few boba spots in the city, and this place definitely is better than the other shop further down on Magazine St. Good location, quick service, reasonably priced, easy ordering process with self-serve kiosks, and the drinks are yummy! I also love the bubble waffles as a snack!

I’ve tried many Boba Milk teas. Going Cha is the gold standard. The boba texture was freshly cooked, soft and slightly chewy. Perfect! The milk tea had a very deep and full taste to it. Very strong tea taste. Not watered down like at some other spots. I recommend the large size. The medium was just not enough. It went too fast. I almost ordered a second one!

That dirty brown sugar milk foam was off da hook! I tried other bubble teas like Feng Cha and a couple out in Metairie. Man, if you want that good and strong tea flavor, this place does it best. I saw some other reviews about the bubble waffle. Those reviews telling the truth. The bubble waffle was amazing!

OMG! I saw this new boba place just open, been meaning to try it out and when I went it was crowded. They have so many selections and allow you to adjust sugar and ice as you want. The guy behind the counter was so friendly and guided me to a Brown sugar milk tea with boba and pudding. It was so good! I never tasted a bubble tea so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it. The original bubble waffle was also exquisite. Crispy and fluffy, perfectly sweet with a hint of vanilla. I will definitely be a regular here.

I was so excited to see that a Gong Cha opened up here in New Orleans. Gong Cha is an international chain that originated in Taiwan and you can find stores throughout Asia and in the United States. I had the Lychee Oolong Tea with Coconut Jelly which was great. This location also has a ton of seating with plenty of outlets so it's also a great place to get work done - very happy to have a Gong Cha in NOLA now!

Highly disappointed in this place. I normally don't rate this low. Upon walking in, not a single greeting. There's a kiosk for ordering in front of the counter and I was kind of confused as to if the gentleman was going to take my order or not. I don't mind ordering from kiosk but from the way he looked at me, seem like that was what he preferred me to do. He could have at least smiled, said hello, or some kind of acknowledgment. So I placed an order for the wintermelon tea with egg pudding and boba, using the kiosk. My drink came out pretty quickly. Even the young lady that made my drink, could even at least smile or say thank you. The drink tasted mediocre. The boba was definitely not cooked all the way. It was chewy with a hard bite. I was hoping for a little bit more cold foam also. Eh, maybe they'll improve since it's fairly new or maybe they just had a bad day.

Excellent post dinner spot. I like how they have kiosks so you can really peruse the menu and customize your drink at your leisure (especially the option to do lower sugar). Hope it does well!!
