My husband and I are Thai food lovers so we like to try new Thai restaurants in every part of the city — we went to go see the Monet exhibit and decided to stop by Good Catch Thai Urban Bistro. The food is top notch! We really enjoyed our meal including my jumbo lump crab curry entree and my husband’s Tom Yum Noodle soup entree. We also ordered several appetizers and all were very good with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back!

Food is outstanding definitely a refreshing spin on New Orleans seafood and Thai recipes. Can be a little pricy for lunch but well worth it.

We needed a place nearby to where we were due to our itinerary, and this popped up as an option. We all loved our dishes, including several people with dietary restrictions.Service was a little slow, despite very few customers, but overall, it was an amazing stop in our trip.

I came with high expectations for the reviews but had a bad first impression, there were only 3 workers, 1 bartender, 1 waitress and 1 hostess for a lot of tables it gets very busy and its hard for them to catch up by greeting, taking orders and cleaning. line is long, got my order wrong, even when they took long time entering the order on their pad, the food was okay, got replaced my wrong order but the shrimps looked so bad, like not well cooked and it was not authentic Thai food, more like seafood rest with Thai vibes, they can improve the environment.

The dishes here are PERFECT!! We ordered a variety of starters, drinks, and entrées and loved them all!I believe everyone's favourite was the Spicy Salmon Tsuke! The Chicken Satay was so good, we ordered two! We also really enjoyed their Edamame. Our entrées were superb. The Spicy Chili Garlic Crab Noodles were a highlight (pictured) and their Basil Fried Rice (with shrimp and chicken) - so good!!!And for a shared dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice was outstanding!!

We were so excited to try Good Catch and it did not disappoint. Everything was phenomenal from the atmosphere to the service to the incredible food to the delicious cocktails. The scallop crudo and pad Thai were highly recommended which were two things I may have skipped initially (only because I like Pad Thai but typically try other things now and I’ve only had scallops cooked which I do love) and both blew us away. The flavors danced in the plate. We also had the seafood ramen, shrimp spring rolls, and mango sticky rice (which I’ve never tried before and it was delicious). My husband had the smoked Bangkok Old Fashioned and we tried the Pomegranate Margarita and the Butterfly Strawberry Mocktail. We had a great experience and can’t wait to return and try more. It was lovely to meet Aom and she was a lovely host. They also own Pomelo which we look forward to trying uptown.

This was the best Thai I’ve ever had in my life! The staff was super helpful, I told them I had a nut allergy and one of the workers helped me with the options and choices and offered to make accommodations. The atmosphere is amazing and very welcoming, low light and very clean. And the FOOD?? Best Thai I’ve ever had.

I can't think that it was just an off day. We had the fried oysters which were bland and bad. No flavor. The clay pot with gulf shrimp was practically inedible with hundreds of whole black Peppercorns. The shrimp were ok. The tom yum Ramen with chicken was mediocre. We didn't finish anything.
