I had the pleasure of having Gourmand cater a private dinner in my home. I had business guests in from out of town and rather than take them to a restaurant after a busy and successful workshop I decided it would be more intimate and relaxing to have them at home, where we could comfortably eat outside.Peyton and Katie made the entire process very easy. They assessed my space, worked up a menu for me; Peyton even paired and provided the wine.The food was exceptional and beautifully plated. Each course was a treat - from fois gras and gumbo to hand made pasta served with quail - the foodies were over the moon. Peyton was charming with my guests, introducing each course and new wine.My guests were truly wowed. One of them called me the following day to thank me again saying it was one of the most memorable meals he had ever had, and how special it was to have been invited to my home.The whole experience was lovely, and stress free. I was able to concentrate on hosting my workshop, knowing my swanky dinner party was in good hands. Katie and Peyton truly took care of everything. And my kitchen was immaculate at the end of the evening, as if nothing had happened. It was truly a night to remember.
