This place is in the worst location, trying to find it is like trying to find an evil and a haystack. Then when I get there, the guy is making a big cookie. I asked if I could buy cookie and he said he was busy and pointed to a sign that says be back in 10 minutes. After all that effort and to be treated like that and no one available for business was disappointing. I’ll find another place to buy cookie, no thank you

I love Great American Cookies. I am actually eating one right now as I am writing this review. We walked up to this location and wanted to order some. A young African American man was alone behind the counter. The conversation goes like this:Us: We asked for Chocolate Chip.He asked: which ones?Us chocolate chip right there (pointing to the tray in the window with chocolate chip)Him: with m&m?Us: no, just the chocolate chip.Him: so you want m&m or no?Us: just the plain chocolate chip right there (pointing at the tray)Him: I don’t know what you’re pointing to, I can’t see it.We just left.I am sure someone there interviews this man before putting him behind the counter. I do feel sad for him because he will meetup with the wrong person one day and they won’t just ignore him & leave.

Our son got married in New Orleans recently. He doesn't enjoy traditional cakes and always wanted cookie cakes growing up. I wanted to bring that element to the Rehearsal Dinner. I worked with the owner to create a suitable cookie cake. Jason was great to work with, made the process easy and even delivered the cake to the restaurant for us. Great experience.

I traveled out of town to give my daughter a NOLA (Saints) experience for her 8th birthday! The owner and team at this location was efficient and completed my order in a timely manner! They literally saved the day as I was not able to travel with a cake! Thanks!

The BEST service for the BEST cake for my brother getting into med school! Jason, the manager, spoke with me on the phone to form the perfect cake, then hand delivered it to him first thing in the morning so he could get it before work, as I live out of state. I’m so impressed with this place and Jason, highly recommend to anyone looking for a custom cake!

Cookies were good, soft and fresh. Customer service was less than pathetic. Young man couldn’t take his cell phone off his shoulder long enough to fill our order and when ask about the big three get one free sign right on the tray of cookies we ordered he said “oh not on those.” And left it at that. Walked away. Just another example of pathetic customer service from todays youthful workforce.

Sept 2022 updated:We returned and they were open so we bought the buy 5, get 1 free cookies. The strawberry cookies were a little hard. My daughter enjoyed the cookies and cream (they were a little smaller than they should've been) and my favorite was snickerdoodle.Aug 2022 Full disclosure: we never placed an order...While walking around the outlet before taking a historical boat tour, we stopped at this location to checkout the flavors. We inquired about their closing time... the man said 8 but the woman corrected him saying 7. We couldn't take food on the boat so we said we would come back. We did. She was counting the register around 4:30pm and all of the cookies were gone. I asked if they were closed and she nodded yes as she was talking on the phone. We were completely disappointed. If we get to come back and they're open, I'll update my review.

This was our daughter’s1st birthday away from home (she’s in college). The cookie cake was perfect and they delivered right to her dorm! They were very flexible with her class schedule in order to make sure she would be there to get it - as there is no person at the front desk. They went ABOVE & BEYOND and allowed us to celebrate from afar!!! They even sent me a picture of the cake before delivery. THANK YOU!!!

This afternoon at approximately 3:45pm on the 27th day of June. Myself, and my wife purchased a couple of items from your shop at riverwalk. The reception we received from two of the three employees employees at the counter were rude, and uninterested in us being there. No smile, no kindness. My wife asked a question and was totally ignored!
