Omg this chicken was so juicy. Perfectly seasoned and the sides were also delicious. I definitely want to go back when I visit.

We stumbled upon Gus’s after shopping at the outlets on Riverwalk. The reviews were strong and fried chicken sounded perfect for lunch. Their chicken is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had at a restaurant! It was also a great price - and for those who have visited NOLA before, you know it can be a pricey city! You must try it!
Some if the best fried chicken I ever had.

They charged me 25% for tips using my credit card without telling me and gave me a receipt without tips!!! This is stealing!!! Be careful everyone, there is a reason this place has so few clients. Keep away!!

The chicken was good, but not exceptional. If you have a peanut allergy, be cautious—it’s unclear if they use highly refined peanut oil. The staff seemed uncertain, and it took a few exchanges before they checked on it.

I was in town from Ohio for my cousins wedding. This restaurant was 2 blocks away from my hotel. It was wonderful! We were greeted nicely and our waitress, Darrelle, was so friendly and sweet! Me, my sister and brother in law all had the chicken and shared several different sides. Everything was yummy and flavorful! The sweet tea was SWEET tea! ? And got a free souvenir cup! We ended up taking slices of pie to go back to our hotel. An hour later we tasted the pies! The coconut pie was unbelievable good! We ended up running back to buy a whole pie! Definitely recommend!!

Give Sunny a raise! She was amazing in helping us with ordering. The chicken is fried to order, and the atmosphere is so chill. Prices are incredibly fair for the amazing quality of Southern cooking.
Recommend the chicken, fried pickles and fried green tomatoes.
Thanks again Sunny for amazing service!

Great location. It says spicy chicken. I'm glad I decided to try it anyway. Just the right amount of spice. Loved it! Great baked beans and slaw!
