Found this gem of a spot and what a delicious first meal of our trip!
Shrimp taco, steak taco, pork taco, quesadilla- all were SO good! We all left the table satisfied!
We sat outside and enjoyed people watching while we ate. The patio was comfortable and had so much to see.
Delicious food, friendly staff and cool vibes.
Very laid back. Order at the counter & they run it out to you. Pretty big wrap around patio w a water feature and a couple games for the kids. Also dog friendly.
They do a great job at hiding the busy streets with colorful umbrellas and a line of large tropical greenery. It felt like we weren’t in Nola
Oh and the food was excellent. Great flavors, perfect portion for me. Friendly staff & quick service.

They truly respect vegans with a menu to back it up, including delicious corn. The Cuban sandwich is a must-try, and there are great vegan/vegetarian options like eggplant al pastor. The restaurant features a spacious outdoor patio with games for kids, making it a fun place for families. Guests have enjoyed the wide variety of flavorful choices, from tacos and corn to poboys and salads, often returning multiple times during their visit. The food is fresh and satisfying, with the tacos being especially fragrant, fresh, and delicious, and the limes very juicy. The steak burrito is highly recommended as the best ever. The staff is awesome, very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing top-tier service. The outdoor seating area is nice and kid-friendly, although some might find the kids chicken tenders less enjoyable. Overall, Habana Outpost offers great food, a friendly environment, and excellent service that should not be missed.
