Amazing-the fresh flavors are the best!! Always add condensed milk for the best dessert you will ever have!
This establishment is the oldest snowball stand in the country, at 86 (I think) years old. That says a lot. The ice is literally powder. You could ski it in Aspen, it is that good. You can go classic, or venture into something experimental and bold. On this visit, I had the limited edition spicy pickle (which the staff insisted I try before I bought a snowball and hated). My usual go-to is pandan with coconut milk. If you are lucky enough to have the stars align, and you are able to try bananas foster, count yourself amongst the lucky ones.
Snowballs are good, but not wait in the New Orleans heat for over an hour good. It was also very expensive for some frozen water and syrup, IMO.
Incredible sno-balls, definitely get the satsuma when you go!
Native to the city and this was my first time here. You can tell there’s pure joy inside each sno ball! I got the watermelon flavor mixed with creamy wedding cake! Both were just right and the watermelon was real and not the artificial one. The ice was very soft and fluffy. Can’t wait to go back!
I was in Louisiana and the location was in plane view. Not a ste in a parking lot.
Classic New Orleans Sno ball. Tons of fresh flavors and options to stuff your Sno ball with fruit or ice cream. They layer the flavors so you get it in every single bite!! Won’t leave New Orleans without stopping here!
Snowballs are so good but there is never a time when I haven't waited in line for 20 minutes to get one
Flavors made in-house! Orange and cream is awesome!
We were visiting NOLA and were told we HAVE to visit Hansen's for the best Sno-Balls! They were sooooo delicious just be prepared to wait in a long line! Some sizes come in a souvenir cup!

Hansen's is a New Orleans institution that should be protected at all costs. Every trip my husband and I take to New Orleans involves planning a stop to get a snoball. The staff is wonderful, and you will never have a snoball like Hans n's anywhere else. P.S. Don't sleep on the Satsuma flavor or adding Marshmallow fluff to your snowlball.

Super fun snowball experience in NOLA. I saw great reviews and decided to check it out. I was only going to get the cream of nectar flavor but a local woman said she gets half cream of nectar and half coconut so I decided to try it. It was quite good. The nectar flavor could have been a little strong so I would recommend getting cream of wedding cake as one of the half options. My husband got it and it was more almond forward which is what I wanted. Limited seating benches outside but otherwise no seating. Definitely try the 'cream' flavored ones. They were delicious!

What a great place! Perfect for when you're overheating, they pile up the ice and pile on the flavour.
