Solid 3 stars. 95% of you will absolutely hate this place and will stay for one drink tops. 5% will think this is the best bar ever. Locals here run the show, for better or worse, and some are absolute tweakers. Have had some very good times, and one truly awful (worst experience in numerous trips to nola).
Food is a 3 because I didn't eat. I came in ordered, didn't have cash... It's CASH ONLY. I left, came back within 30 minutes, the bartender remembered my order and had it on the bar by the time I could get my wallet out. This not a touristy bar, it feels like real New Orleans. Good music, friendly people, great priced drinks, and a chill local vibe.

Great hole in the wall a little way off Jackson square. Bring cash and they'll do the rest. Good local beers on tap and they can pretty much make any drink behind the bar. Really fun!
