Just sharing my personal experience from my first visit after the Bayou Classic game. We came as a group of eight with reservations and were seated pretty quickly, which was great. The place was full of energy..alive DJ, a warehouse-club vibe, and a super diverse crowd. It was fun to look at, but the music was so loud that we were basically reading lips to talk to each other. The menu was the biggest letdown. It was switched to a “game day” menu, and I wish we had known ahead of time. We were really looking forward to the lamb chops, oxtails, and other dishes from their regular menu. Food-wise, the HQ and lemon pepper wings just didn't hit. They were lacking flavor, and some of the smaller wings were overcooked...six of them were basically not edible. The Bang Bang shrimp didn't work for us either because the sauce had a strong mayo taste. On the bright side, the lemon pepper chicken burger, crab cake burger, and the catfish and shrimp platters had good flavor. Prices for the food were fair, but the extra $30 entertainment fee threw us off. Not sure if that was per party or per person. The 20% service fee was expected. Overall, we don't plan on going back...it just wasn't our vibe. But I know everyone looks for something different, so I'll leave it for others to check out and decide for themselves. I truly hope the place continues to do well.

20% service charge automatically charged to every bill but we were told this is not a tip for the server. $5 per person entertainment was charged but not advertised on the website under the entertainment event. We were there as a party of 4. One person's food was brought out after the other three entrees had been eaten and plates cleared. We were never offered refills and server was rude. Our bill was high due to the hidden fees for the mediocre meal that we had.

The DJ was great. Played old school & current hip hop & R&B selections. Service was decent. I had the crispy gator bites. They were pretty tasty. I also had the crab cake burger, which was good as well.

Food was okay . Dj was too loud for the size of the place . Drink was 10/10 I had the Blueberry Drop Martini. I didn't like how an “ entertainment fee” was added to the bill?

Restaurant did not have all the options as the online menu. The PoBoy and Cajun burger were delicious and the portion size was large.

Headquarters by Nice Guys Nola are not so nice! Although the food tasted good, be warned. They charge a 20% service charge to every guest no matter the size of the party and are reluctant to show you the itemized receipt. Be sure to check your bill in detail, or you may end up paying an exorbitant tip!

Great staff!!! Food overpriced for the taste. I went during lunch so was kinda empty. Great music though. And the service charge is why I wont be going back.

This is based solely on service and food.

Don’t. Unless you’re trying to have that bar lady fight you. I still can’t believe this happened lol. Over French fries DRIPPING in oil… not exaggerating. All that after they forgot to even make my order. I asked about my order almost 30 mins after and it hadn’t even been put in. It wasn’t even busy, I was the only person ordering. Even after all that, how do you manage to get french fries order wrong?? Not once, but twice? On top of all that still give the customer attitude over YALLS mistake..?? For $13 oil-dripping fries… plenty witnesses around since it was for an event. Absolutely unreal. If you guys actually read this, please do let her know that the fries she was fighting over? didn’t even have that parsley OR garlic butter she was fighting over. It was all oil still the second time around. She also made it very clear to me that the green was parsley, NOT green onions. Honestly, not sure why that was her biggest issue. Truly though, I don’t know if she was tired, got anger issues, was having a bad day, etc. Regardless… even on a good day, food and service here is mediocre at best.

In conclusion, there’s plenty of much better places to spend your money and time on this block alone.

Me and my family ate here. The food was not good. Our waiter was good but I can’t remember her name. We were charged a $5 pp entertainment fee. We were not told up front. The dj was good but the music was extremely loud so it was hard for us to talk. I do not recommend this place!!

I was so proud to be black at this restaurant. Everything was excellent the food , ambiance, and the hospitality , just everything. It was my my family and I first time in New Orleans celebrating there birthday so Head Quarters is at the top of my list for when ever I come back.

I'm very disappointed with my visit here but it's not because of the food. I will first say that I got the gator tacos and bang bang shrimp to go. THEY WERE AMAZING. My problem is that I witnessed a young server slip and fall at the bar as I waited on my order. She fell so hard😪broke a glass and cut herself. THEN BRANDON....I'm assuming he was in charge. He never asked if she was ok, he scolded her, clocked her out and threatened to fire her. SOME KIND OF NICE GUY😡
