The owner/Chef Jeffrey Heard brought all that classic New Orleans taste “blessed with love” and it flows like a river from this small space on the corner of Felicity and Terpsichore. We’ve been wanting to eat at Heard Dat for weeks during our trip to NOLA from New Mexico, and it was definitely worth the wait!! Essence helped us with everything- ordering, brought out our food, talked about New Orleans, and was just generally so kind and helpful! We got the CrawDat fries, mac n cheese, and Skeesh Strips, and bought some of the Skeesh sauce to take home because it was so good. You need to get to this place!!
