I came all the way to New Orleans to have the worst jambalaya I've ever experienced. It was beyond disappointing. It was inedible and it was $18. The server was nice and the patio was beautiful. There was a live band which is why we chose this place but even the band seemed lackluster like they didn't want to be there.

Stopped here for quick bite
Fries were hot and fresh like them.
Have not tried drinks or any other thing on menu
There outdoor seating helped for bit relaxing time after long walks on the street

Look out!! Had several drinks for around $36 and the server decided our tip wasn't enough so she added $10 more. I called and emailed the company but they didn't respond. The music was good but I would avoid this place.

A true dive bar, overpriced drinks but a good no-nonsense vibe. Had fun but probably won't go back.

We didn't eat. Only drinks. The back space was really nice but it took a while for service that we ended up going inside to get drinks and then once that happened we never saw the waitress again.
Kid-friendliness: No more than the other local bars but it did have a dog and games on the back and a live band setting up
Wheelchair accessibility: No

Drinks were not good. The Mojito was horrible. I think they forgot to had alcohol to it. She had to made it more than once and still taste like limeade.
Didn't want to have her make it again so we just waste our money and drank it. $17 down the drain

We happened in off Bourbon.
We came in early, probably around 1100am. The building is really interesting and well decorated.
I ordered a Hurricane and my husband ordered a HurriTang. As they arrived... the music started.... and although that sounds great... you'd be wrong.
I'm not talking about awesome live music with NOLA feels...
I mean the "pop country" crap... on Bourbon Street.... at deafening volumes.
At that point, I wanted to leave. I couldn't tune it out and it seriously kinda ruined the rest of the experience unfortunately.
The food was good.
Especially the Crawfish Mushroom Poutine-- Nom!!
We shared the Seafood Platter-- it was ok. It was so heavy that it hurt our tummies, but if you are used to a lot of fried foods, you'll really like this dish. The breadings were good and the sauces were really good.
We will not go back overall.

We ate dinner at a sister restaurant and had 2 passes to try a drink called a hurritang at the Hideout. We were a party of 4 and the place was mostly empty at 8pm, so we sat down, ordered the 2 drinks and 2 waters and let the girl know that we had just eaten and came to try those drinks. She immediately scowled, grabbed our menus, and left. She came back and slammed the drinks down on the table and rolled her eyes and left. We were shocked and thought maybe she was having a bad day.
She then came back with two waters, acted like she was walking toward us, looked at us, and set them down in front of the couple at the table next to us, and proceeded to chat and laugh loudly with them. So she wasn't grabbing a bad day... she was just passive aggressive and hostile.
The drinks were sugary and terrible but the attitude made us not wasn't to stay. We asked for the bill. She charged us $16 per drink (even though the passes were worded as if it was $6 for the drink). She snapped "you can only use one" though or wasn't written anywhere on the pass that there was a restriction. Whatever. We paid $26 for a few sips of tang and our first unpleasant experience in New Orleans.
Oceana had great food and kind and fun service. Hideout was baffling. We intended to try another of their restaurants for our second dinner in NOLA but will look for something else.

Went in for a drink last night and ordered a champagne or Prosecco with a splash of orange juice other wise known as a mimosa. I was given a glass of Chardonnay instead. The bartender was busy on the other side of the bar so I went over asked her for the right drink. She proceeded to argue with me saying I ordered Chardonnay, calling me a drunk and then called a coworker Trey over. He was super nice and was going to get me a new drink but the bartender kept yelling and arguing so we left. I hope no one else ever gets treated this way by that bartender. I have been in the service industry for years and never treated anyone like that. Also I question whether she is trained bartender if she is serving Chardonnay in a mimosa.

The food is good, but the drink prices are very high. My wife and I split an appetizer, split a meal, and had 2 Tito’s and cranberry each. $132 tab before tip.

Way overpriced for your locals, but I'm not responsible for paying what it must cost to operate in NOLA.
Side note... They should bring back their 'Seadog IPA beer batter, fish and chips'.
