Yes yes yes. I finally was able to sit down and eat here while I was in town and it’s 10/10. I came on a Sunday when they had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but of course I had to get some sides to try. My favorites were the smothered green beans and potatoes and pickle cheese (enough to where I’d get those every time I come in if they’re on the menu). Also, those ✨wings✨ omg. They’re habanero pineapple white BBQ wings, but don’t be scared - they’re not overly spicy. I’d say they’re more smoky than spicy. So good. The smothered okra and pot roast were also flavorful and delicious.
The restaurant itself has a very retro/vintage vibe that I think goes really well with the homemade cooking, and the service is very good. I was able to bring my favoritest boy (my dog Cashew) onto the back patio where we enjoyed a late lunch. I’ll be back!

I was soooo disappointed…friends took me for my birthday. I picked the place because of the association with Turkey and TheWolf, which is good food, quirky atmosphere, T this place was just brown , everything brown . Food was disappointing ( cornbread was tasty) atmosphere not good . Sorry, I wanted it to be good. ?

The food is good but my lord it’s expensive for what it is. This could explain why nobody else was there eating lunch on a weekday. Change your prices at least during lunch or nobody will come back!

This was the single handed most incredible meal I have ever had in my entire life. My friends and I spent the beginning of our meal beyond baffled that we were having such an incredible culinary experience, the middle of the meal thinking that if something this good exists that Jesus must be real, and the end of our meal unsure of how we could ever experience happiness again if we were not sitting in Hot Stuff. Five stars. Great food. Michelin Star. All gas. No brakes. Also. Sick bathroom

Do yourself a favor and add Hot Stuff to your to do list while in NOLA! The food was amazing, staff and service were great as well! The owner is actually there ensuring everything runs well! I tried the perfectly fried chicken, stewed chicken, greens, smothered cabbage and Mac and Cheese! They were all phenomenal!
