Stopped at this bar for a drink during a parade. It was still early so we managed to snag a place on the balcony where we watched the parade go by. The ambiance of the Bourbon street parade was fantastic and the view from the top was fabulous. Our friends enjoyed the massive glasses of beer but they had a poor selection of wine. We got glasses of rose which were awful but it was either that, beer or cocktails.
The manager was super nice and welcoming. The entertainment was great- The Danny Alexander Band- photo included. But there was one woman bartender who became very rude to us and then when we were still nice to her it seemed to send her over the edge- photo included. She even complained to management but the patrons took up for us. We were afraid to drink our drinks after she was forced by the manager to make our drinks. We threw them away after paying for them. Situated on Bourbon Street this bar sells ridiculously large beers if that is your drink of choice. When we visited they had a great blues band playing. The staff weren’t very friendly but they may have been having a bad day.
