Me and my wife stopped by for a drink on 9/27. While there, some rude customers argued with the staff. I’m here to tell you, the staff was great. Drinks were great. There were several other tables and no one had an issue…. We are going back tomorrow for bread pudding. * I cannot remember my servers name but he was awesome.

The place wasn't too bad but it was extremely underwhelming, I was expecting the food to be a lot better. Also I don't know if this is a usual thing or not but this lady, (maybe the owner?) was walking around and pursing her lips all weird at me, I don't know if she liked me and my companions look or not but she was awfully snarky. Will not be coming here again.

Stopped in before the Santigold concert and was absolutely delighted. Requested light spice for my vegan rice and beans. It was perfect. All of the staff members felt like friends. This restaurant is a must for every future visit.

Food was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The shrimp in my Cajun pasta were rubbery. French fries tasted like freezer burn. Beware of double tipping as gratuity is added even for a table of two.
ONLY reason it didn’t get a 5 star, my pasta came out cold. Like it was sitting waiting on other dishes my family ordered or been sitting pre made. Not sure which one. The young man, the cook, seated us and super polite and helpful and super patient. We had a 6 year old that didn’t know what she wanted. The place was super clean. No one was there since we came when they opened. The men’s bathroom was clean. My wife and 6 year old used the woman’s rest room and said 2 of them said out of order, one didn’t flush and another was disgusting. The food tasted good. Other than my dish, came out hot and good. I may visit again when in the area. Update: came back again. Brought friends with me this time. Ordered drinks and appetizer. The appetizer was burnt and nasty. Wasn’t going to order a main because of it. We arrived at 4:30 and it was so dead. Prices was outrageous! Never now will I be back and I can’t recommend coming here now..

The atmosphere of the restaurant is another reason why it stands out— the inside is decorated to perfectly capture a New Orleans street complete with a vintage car.
