IHOP in New Orleans

“The food was delicious. My husband had the Waffle Combo. I had the Pancake Combo. Our server was great. She was nice and checked in on us to make sure we had refills and to see if we needed anything. The decor in the restaurant was really cool. It's a collection of antique doors, old gates, shutters and frames from New Orleans. Also if you are a Andy Griffith Show fan you'll appreciate the photo in the back. It's of Hal Smith, he was The Pancake Man for IHOP in the late 50's and early 60's. It was a children's show sponsored by IHOP.“

“Against what the reviews suggested we came here to avoid overpriced food and the crowd of the Canal Street area where we were staying for Essence Festival. Concert released super late and breakfast is great at all times of the day. Outside was a lil skeptical but we went in anyway. Lol. Waiter was very nice and relateable. Food took a lil min but it was worth the wait. Hot grits with cheese just the way I asked for them. Hashbrowns cooked extra hard like I asked. Scrambled eggs with cheese and toast. My husbands pancakes were thick and seemed uncooked through the middle. Never seen him pick over a hot stack so I wouldn't recommend those but other than that, I was satified. 230am with very little choices to close from and we couldn't have gotten any more lucky.“
