I had friends in from out of town and Jack Rose is always a vibe. However, on a Wednesday night their service was ridiculous. We had to ask the bus boy to get our server on multiple occasions, finally involved a manager. They took care of our drinks, but there are too many amazing restaurants in New Orleans to have that poor quality of service at that price point.
In town for a wedding reception. Had dinner here at our hotel to make it easy. We were blown away how good this restaurant was! We had 6 people in our party with a last minute addition of 4 people. Their manager was so accommodating and got us a table together. The wait staff was so good! Max was our server. She was amazing! We spent 2.5 hours there and enjoyed every minute. Thank you for a memorable dining experience.
I was disappointed - not with the restaurant but by my own expectations. I expected more of a fine dining experience, with multiple servers, careful food delivery and timing, and servers trained for correct table service. (although the servers were very good and tried their best). This restaurant is aesthetically beautiful, with lovely rooms. But the ambience in general is busy and loud.
