My husband and I ate here for the first time. The wait was long but the food was delicious. The redfish and catfish were seasoned nicely and were delicious. I recommend giving this place a try.
Loved this place. It has a real NOLA feel to it. The service was great, and the food was excellent. We shared 3 appetizers. The Garlic Snails, Shrimp & Alligator sausage cheesecake, and Jacques duck and Andouille gumbo. They don't take reservations, so we got there about a half-hour early and were the first in line. This was during the week so we could have got there about 15 minutes early and would have been fine.
Came here on all the recommendations seen all over… its a funky little dive, very lively with a rambunctious feel. It’s not quiet, but not overwhelming. \n\nThe menu all looks fantastic and we had a hard time choosing. They start you with garlic cornbread and a simple spinach salad. Very good.
