This is my fourth time to NOLA and finally made it to this restaurant. I was not disappointed as everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend the shrimp and alligator cheesecake to start. Our waiter Jonathan was the best, all recommendations were on point, he suggested the short rib and the catfish for my girlfriend. His service was impeccable and was a pleasure to talk to. See if you can get seated with him!
Hands down one of the best places to eat in all of New Orleans. Jacques-Imo's is a neighborhood spot, and the food and vibe is spectacular. I've not had fish this good in a restaurant before. Mind blowing. There is usually a wait, but grab a drink at the bar and hang out and the wait will fly by. Totally worth it.

Our server Jonathan was incredible! He could describe every dish on the menu in mouth-watering detail, and as we went around the table ordering, each dish sounded even better than the next. I wound up choosing the Eggplant Pirogue, which was absurdly stupidly delicious. The Watermelon Mojitos he recommended were fantastic and perfectly refreshing, and the Creme Brûlée and Bread Pudding desserts were the perfect end to...
