This is by far, the best meal we have ever had in New Orleans. Run to this place. They will treat you like family. Smiles all around. The food is top drawer eve though the decor tries to tell you it isn’t!! Bbq shrimp is amazing, redfish, tasty and satisfying… and the star of the show was the alligator sausage cheesecake which is not dessert. What an institution. The side dishes were banging, the etoufee was amazing, the rabbit loin a very fried chicken-y experience, and the alligator cheesecake just being something way too rich for our taste.
This is a stick to your ribs, homey Cajun restaurant. Can't go wrong overall. But get the crawfish etoufee!
