My sister and I loved this place. The garlic shrimp and grit cakes was delicious. The banana Foster French Toast was delicious.

One of the first places open in French Quarter. So glad I stopped in the food is great. The dirty south bowl, shrimp and grits and specialty French toast my top picks.

Best Eggs Benedict I have ever had.

Decided to eat breakfast here after seeing a review from someone saying they had the best bananas foster french in their life here. Much to my disappointment, it was just some regular french toast with syrup and some banana slices. The person I was with got a breakfast burrito and was pretty happy with it though. We also ordered the beignet sticks and they were okay. Nothing to write home about. The service was great and didn't have to wait for a table. It's still a cool little place though.

If you’re in New Orleans and looking for breakfast or brunch that actually delivers on flavor and vibe, Jimmy j’s Café is the spot. We were lucky enough to be taken care of by the one and only Spaghetti (yes, that’s what she goes by), and she made the whole experience even more fun — attentive, hilarious, and kept the good energy flowing right along with the drinks.

Speaking of drinks: bottomless mimosas here aren’t just a gimmick. They just kept coming, glass after glass, without us ever having to ask. Perfectly mixed, perfectly timed.

And the food? Out of this world. The crab cake Benedict was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had — rich, savory, perfectly balanced, and absolutely worth writing home about. You can tell they actually care about the quality of their ingredients and the way it all comes together.

I’ve tried Daisy Dukes before, and honestly? There’s no comparison. Jimmy j’s just does it better — the food, the service, the whole experience. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I’m in NOLA.

Everything here is made that morning and you can taste it in every bite. If you’re in the area and want a tasty comfort food experience with fast service. Go here. Soooooo much better than Daisy Dukes next door.

Listen to the lovely and helpful Spaghetti. She will not steer you wrong. Yum yum yum!

Great little place a little hidden but worth finding. Amazing food. The lafitte Benedict was super good. I don't typically like grits but the grit cakes were so good!

Stopped for breakfast. Ordered French Toast with bacon and my wife ordered small order of Sausage and Biscuits. Weird gravy and sausages in gravy not white with sausage cut up in the gravy.
