My favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Great portions at fair prices and the tastes are heavenly. A short walk from the st charles streetcar, so there's no excuse to not go there.

Great little place to get red beans and rice. I'm fine with employees who are cranky seemed to be the normal experience while we were in New Orleans.

Host seated us outside this evening and gave us menus. I cannot rate the food because we didn't get any service. We left after 20 minutes as no one from the wait staff acknowledged us or took a drink order much less a food order. They were not even busy, and the wait staff even bussed a couple of dirty tables and waited on a table of folks who came after us. We went down the street to The Rum House and had excellent service and food.

If you go on Saturday, be sure to get the special half roasts beef po boy with jambalaya AND red beans n rice. Well worth the 14.95. I still have plenty for tonight. We also got fries with brown gravy on the side, gravy was phenomenal. Excellent service too!

We went to Joey K's after jumping off the hop and ride bus tour for lunch. The fried catfish was delicious, hot, crispy and moist.

It was all ok. The fried green tomatoes were really good, but the rest was decent. I would try a fried platter and skip the etoufee and jambalaya. Service was fine, really busy and sat in the back of the building which isn’t cute

Amazing resturant on Magazine Street. In my opinion they have the best Po Boys in New Orleans. I had the fried oyster and my wife had the fried shrimp, fully dressed. We also had some amazing red beans and rice. Great beer selection as well. We will bw back.

Just celebrated our son’s rehearsal dinner here. 40 people, all arrangements from out of state. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was authentic New Orleans. Amanda is a dream to work with. The whole evening could not have been more perfect. Hoping my non-Louisiana offspring want to celebrate here.
