I had this restaurant marked because it's owned by some TOP CHEFS in the culinary world! We get there and notice it's pretty empty, was expecting it to be busy! We order grandmas tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were not the problem, it was the rice and beans...very bland..no seasoning! Since it's a nightmare driving around in New Orleans, we decided to stay there and move to the bar after we ate. I ate the tacos but couldn't with the bland beans and rice....

I so wanted to love this place. As a fan of MasterChef and Chef Aaron, I had high expectations. We walked into an almost empty restaurant when every other restaurant was packed. A table with glasses and silverware sit right at the entrance, giving it a junky feel. We were seated quickly. We started with chips and salsa. We received a bowl of fried plantains and chips along with a bowl of roasted salsa. This was the high point of the meal. We both ordered the Tacos Albondigas (meatball...

Extremely good, the meatballs taco is legendary, as well as any other dish we took. Service was super kind and knowledgeable. The only bad thing I can say about this place is the fact that I didn’t have room left for dessert! THANK
