The food was excellent and our waiter was outstanding. We had a party of 8 which added an automatic 20% gratuity which I was perfectly fine with. What I didn’t like, nor was I ever told was the “KITCHEN APPRECIATION FEE” that was added. I think it should be disclosed prior and allow me to determine IF I want to pay it.

The Sunday brunch at Barnett Hotel's signature restaurant trattoria is a luxurious affair that delights all the senses. As you enter the elegantly appointed dining room, the soft melodies of a live jazz trio set the perfect mood. Our server’s attentiveness and friendliness took our experience to next level, definitely will come back

This place is not correctly listed on Google maps. We spent 15 minutes walking here with two children only to figure that out. It’s actually all the way downtown not in the garden district. Super frustrating.
Beautiful hotel, I attended a poetry event here. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

We had a party of 8. They stole from us. 40 percent gratuity. Pretty outrageous. Neither the food nor service was nearly good enough to justify that. Not sure what would have been.

We saw 2 rats while dining there and yet they made us pay for our drinks! They tried to make it seem like it was normal and said something about taking care of them already ?

Loved the atmosphere and decor of the place. Not much to say. Guess just my dessert was quite simple and seemed store bought. Great staff!

We had a reservation for eight. We made it at the last minute on a night when most of the other restaurants were totally booked. The hostess was nice and the place was mostly empty. The bartender said the property had been purchased and was under new management. We were charged a 40% gratuity. The manager said he couldn't do anything about our complaints, which included only OK food, very small portions, and nothing like bread or salad for prices that were significant. No wonder the place was empty. We're certainly not ever going back.
Went for my 2nd Wedding anniversary and it was so spectacular. Absolutely loved this place. Our waitress was so attentive and really helpful. Definitely have to come back and try everything else on the menu.

Great, old New Orleans atmosphere. In-house made pasta with several gluten free options. Large selection of spirits at the bar. Friendly service.

FOOD- we had a variety of pasta dishes - all were very tasty and good. Very small portions. To the point of it being enough only for a starter, these WERE NOT FULL PORTIONS, my children were all hungry after their pasta dishes...that says a lot. My ravioli was 4 small pasta puffs with a little patter of veg.
SERVICE - Possibly the worst service we have ever had. Our waitress was non-existent. So took the order, bought the mini food and dropped off the check. All the while was annoyed and angry.
Beer draft was flat - pity, because it would have been a good beer.
ATMOSPHERE - Gorgeous setting.

I do not recommend eating here. Seemed convenient, being across the street from the Monet exhibit ; however the service and food was not up to par.
