Flavorful! Friendly! Fiscally conservative! Our funny, kind, attentive server, Porscha, recommended the Mexican street corn dip. I don’t know what magic they lace that with…but holy wow is it delicious! The chicken enchiladas are loaded with creole flavor meat and generously topped with salsa verde, cheese, and jalapeños. Every bite was flavor, flavor, flavor. And the prices! $14 for three big enchiladas? There was a half a plate I could have taken home for another meal if...
Four stars for the drinks and three for the food. The Magazine location is where I usually end up going as it is close to my house (and Sunday they usually have happy hour all day and I like to get my double margarita for the price of a single). I need to disclose that I'm not really a big fan of Mexican (and I got really REALLY burned out on Mexican food and anything wrapped in a tortilla while I was exiled to Austin for a year and half due to Katrina).
