They were out of steak. The waitstaff was not attentive made me feel like they didn’t want to even be bothered. Never refilled my drink. Hoping this was just a bad day or rare occasion went for lunch on a Sunday.

Cool vibe to eat some local tacos at. Love the choice of music. Had me jamming out the whole time while we were eating. Got to love the Creole twist on the tacos 🌮🌯🌮

The food was horrible and dry. The server barely came to the table. We will never come back.

I usually love the Adobo chicken quesadilla, but this one had almost no goat cheese and was swimming in grease. The pork tacos where swimming in grease and made me sick. I just threw away the burrito.

The blackened fish tacos was not blackened with seasoning. The cook just threw a lot of pepper on the fish.

Stay away from this branch of the restaurant. Specialty tacos are too soft, too soaked in dressing. My American taco fell apart. If you really want to experience Juan's go to the one on Magazine Street. This place is pitiful.
The staff at this location is often rude and has no problem being rude to customers, especially the kitchen staff. The music they play is from their own playlist so it is often not child friendly the taste of the food differs from day today based on the cooks, so it’s not very consistent. It is common place for staff to bring you in for the wrong item so make sure to look at your receipt after you order. All that being said, I highly recommend getting a steak quesadilla with the adobo sauce and they’re bad ass bean dip with queso the flying Burrito might sound great, but I just don’t think that shrimp pairs well with chicken or maybe I just don’t like their chicken. I also highly recommend the jerk nachos and black beans with cheese. It should also be noted that this place could easily be two separate restaurants between day and night.

I ordered two burritos through Uber Eats. One burrito was correct, but the other burrito was completely wrong. It was supposed to have beef, no beans, yellow rice, corn, sour cream and cheddar jack. I received instead a burrito with pork, beans, guacamole, and no cheese. Literally everything was incorrect. I called the store and let them know, they told me I had to initiate a refund through Uber eats, which of course I already knew. I let them know it wasn’t about the refund, and that I just wanted the correct burrito. I asked them if perhaps they had packed the incorrect one and if I could come and pick up the correct burrito in the store. They said “oh yeah, we do have it, you can come pick it up”. I drove all the way to Juan’s and they handed me a burrito, however I did not have the foresight to unwrap the foil there in the store; though I wish I had. Upon getting home I realized the burrito they gave me was even more wrong, this one was just beans, rice and guacamole; it had no meat whatsoever. This was a terrible experience and I would recommend anyone to skip Juan’s, there are much better options in mid city.
