Juan's Flying Burrito - Mid-City

I actually love Juan’s, but my first visit at this location was not good. Chips were stale and there was a hair in my food that ended up in my mouth, which no one loves you know? I tell the waitress who was just very short about it and seemed like she didn’t believe me, but I am literally looking at majority if not all of the staff(cooks with beards included) with their hair out. They gave a refund, which I appreciated but it was just wasn’t good service.

It’s honestly hit or miss. When the burrito is good it’s great, when it’s not, it’s crunchy rice, no salsa or anything but rice beans and meat.

Place an order for pickup. Was told I'd get a text when order was ready. Never heard back from them. I have noticed within the last year things going downhill. Not what they used to be. A shame cuz they really had something good going.

Overall, food & service was good. I got a bowl and it was FILLED and FULL! The only difficult part was finding parking. The parking lot for the restaurant is very small.

Do not go here!! Woman fought us because we were seated and passed over for even water multiple times. AVOID at all costs!!! Lower garden district is AMAZING - skip here and go there!

Juan's Catering absolutely hit it out of the park with our HUGE catering order for our company. What truly impressed us was the level of service. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

The hostess sat us at a table at 5:30. At 5:45 no one had come by our table, so I politely let the hostess know. By 5:56 still no one had come by our table. We had sat for 26 minutes with not even a hello or a glass of water. We had to leave to go find food somewhere else unfortunately.

When I went it was my first time ever and let me tell you that the whole experience was AMAZING! Our service was great and our server was super patient with me. Our food was so delicious that of course I had to bring it home and it was still amazing the next day! I definitely will be coming back!!
