Juan's Flying Burrito - Mid-City

I ordered two burritos through Uber Eats. One burrito was correct, but the other burrito was completely wrong. It was supposed to have beef, no beans, yellow rice, corn, sour cream and cheddar jack. I received instead a burrito with pork, beans, guacamole, and no cheese. Literally everything was incorrect. I called the store and let them know, they told me I had to initiate a refund through Uber eats, which of course I already knew. I let them know it wasn’t about the refund, and that I just wanted the correct burrito. I asked them if perhaps they had packed the incorrect one and if I could come and pick up the correct burrito in the store. They said “oh yeah, we do have it, you can come pick it up”. I drove all the way to Juan’s and they handed me a burrito, however I did not have the foresight to unwrap the foil there in the store; though I wish I had. Upon getting home I realized the burrito they gave me was even more wrong, this one was just beans, rice and guacamole; it had no meat whatsoever. This was a terrible experience and I would recommend anyone to skip Juan’s, there are much better options in mid city.

Queso was really good the rest of the food was unfortunately mediocre.

They had great difficulty finding a food option for me with my garlic allergy which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant. The waiter kept apologizing. Small restaurant so may need to wait for group larger than 4

Bad beans, flavorless rice, and enchiladas feels like chewing plastic, all the ingredients taste cheaper than great value

Queso tasted great but half of the chips were stale. Bartender with the face piercings who helped with my pickup order was rude and acted weird and bothered towards me.

this is a cool place to go, especially to pregame. you will never leave hungry.

Expect at least one ingredient to be unavailable each time you visit. Wait staff seem to be from halfway homes, so lower your expectations. Food volume is substantial for the money, but quality is meh. Like most Mexican places, the menu is mostly a list of combinations rather than unique dishes. Booths are crazy cramped as if designed for Asians. The wait to be seated can be extreme during peak times, but people don't flock here like they used to (for reasons). The parking lot is a joke; always full, impossible to exit, nightmare level.

We got 'to go'. It was ready on time. Limited parking but easy in & out of lot. Temp of food was warm by the time we got home: maybe 10 min after pick up. Chips weren't in bag but salsa was. Ordered no sour cream but it looked like it was put on food & then scraped to remove it. Flavors r very good, portions r good & food is very filling.

Great food and service! They have vegan options but have given me food with dairy before even when I order it without.

I would change my rating to 5 star if they added a checkout option where you can list allergies. Also they should get cashew queso and they don’t give you enough tofu for the price

I don't remember a single time I came here without them ruining my time a lot. They tell you 5 or 10 minutes, but in reality it's 30-40 minutes!!

Love, love the fish tacos, the street tacos which are $2 on Taco Tuesdays. Also, the queso and the margaritas are good.

Great food for an affordable price. Server was friendly with the kids and the kid prices you can’t beat. Portions were a nice size too. This was the first time going but not the last!
