I checked out both locations recently. The one at the back of Erin Rose only had the one vegan option, roasted sweet potato and kale. It was decent and I appreciate a hot vegan meal, but the flavors did not do it for me. The next day I went to the brick and mortar location. It has three vegan options. I went with the bbq tofu. Same feeling, I appreciate the option but the combos didn't do it for me personally. I guess I wanted a more traditional po boy.

They had excellent vegan options here! My friend and I shared the tofu and the sweet potato poboys. Both were excellent, but I loved the tofu one the most.

They had a few vegan options to choose from which was surprising because it seemed like a small hole in the wall type place. I had the cauliflower poboy which was amazing with the roasted kale and my husband had the tofu poboy.

We went, with high expectations, and were all disappointed. Now, that was during COVID, so it's been a while. But, all I remember is overcooked greens and an unpleasant flavor. If you want a vegetarian poboy, best bet is a dressed french fry poboy from Parran's or Parkway Tavern. Updated from previous review on 2022-12-26

I had the sweet potato and collard greens po-boy. It was probably the best meal I had in New Orleans. The collard greens were amazing. The only thing I can complain about is that the bread got soggy from the toppings. It's also a somewhat messy meal.

I was nervous about eating on this recent trip to New Orleans. Thank you, Happy Cow for finding a place that could accommodate all of my party. I’m having the delicious Thai BBQ tofu and the smothered greens. Delicious. I would definitely recommend this place! #Veganuary

Loved that there were three vegan options-they were all unique and interesting combos. I tried the sweet potato and greens one and it was tasty.

So good to be able to try a vegan version of a poboy. The roasted sweet potato with collard greens, black eyed pea and pecan spread was delicious.

I was torn between the three vegan options. The owner steered me to the bbq tofu. Excellent, as promised. For those dining with nonvegan partners, the classic shrimp poboy is spot on.

The tofu poboy was delicious!!! The place looked a little dark and sketchy when we got there but I’m so glad we went in. This sandwich was excellent.

On a recommendation from a friend that was in New Orleans a few weeks ago I popped into Erin Rose to grab a Black Beer Beef Debris poboy. The depth of flavor is outstanding! I've been in town 5 days and it's the best thing I've eaten so far!

NOLA is a little difficult for food-loving vegans. I was so thrilled to find 3 vegan poboy options all in one place that I got 2 to hold me for a couple days. The sweet potato and the BBQ Tofu were both delish and tasted like quality ingredients. Next time, I’d begin my trip here and stock up the hotel fridge! I only wish they stayed open later.

I've never had a normal poboy, but I've heard finding a good vegan one is hard? At this restaurant, half of the menu was vegetarian, and half of those were vegan. They also had vegan steamed greens as a side which is hard to find! The Thai BBQ Tofu poboy was delicious. The sauce was tasty and the tofu was cooked well. A quick, relatively inexpensive bite in the French Quarter

Good food but left behind some personal items when I walked out. Went back in and they denied seeing it

Kid-friendliness: Poboys are delicious. Had the shrimp and beef Poboys. Very well made. They are able to make the grilled cheese without the whiskey grilles cheese. Just traditional grilled cheese.
