Small, kinda hole in the wall diner with great food. We did have to wait about 15 minutes for a seat but that's a good sign to me. Means people really enjoy eating here! Not the cleanest place but it didn't really bother me.

So here's the thing. I haven't had enough po boys to be able to tell you if these are the legit ones to try or not. I know people say the closer to Bourbon St you get, the lower the food quality gets. All that being said, I was told this was the place to go by the bartender at Pat O'Brien's (Chris), and for me, they were so damn good! We got a shrimp and a pork belly, and both totally hit the spotAre these authentic? No idea. Are these good? Hell yes they are! Highly recommended.

Multiple vegan choices. Loved the sweet potato and Thai BBQ tofu po boys. Awesome greens and selection of alcoholic and NA choices. Folks near me raved on the shrimp po boy.

The food was OK. We had the cauliflower poboy and the thai BBQ tofu. The tofu one was better. When I ordered I forgot to ask about nuts as my son has a nut allergy. I went and asked after the food came out and the lady(who I assume was the owner) threw a tiny tantrum. I wasn't expecting her to give me another sandwich from free but that was she assumed and was pretty rude. Bad customer service IMO. When she brought the sandwich out she kinda threw it on the table.Even if i liked the food I wouldn't go back there. For her to assume that I was expecting them to give me another sandwich and throw a fit is not cool.

The poboys are not traditional but claim to be inspired. Had the pork belly and it was the worst po boy I've ever had, a shame to what a good sandwich could be.
