The atmosphere was very unique. It was intimate and inviting. The staff was courteous and thoughtful. They knew the menu very well, offered several.opti9ns to everyone, and even had vegan options for those in party who were not nearly as cool as the rest of us. I had the cheese burger! Great and the desserts were absolutely mind blowing. I cannot recommend this place enough.

La Crêpe Nanou has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants for years, and I’m giving it five stars because the food and experience are consistently excellent. They have the absolute best French onion soup and steak frites in New Orleans, hands down.
That said, I was really disappointed by how our recent visit ended. We spent over $200 on dinner, and I was surprised and embarrassed to find a $15 “cake fee” on the bill, even though the staff had suggested we bring a dessert when I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. We brought four small petit fours, not a full cake. On top of that, there was a $9.06 “convenience fee” that was never mentioned. That’s $24 in surprise charges.
I’ll absolutely be back because I love this place, but it didn’t feel great to be hit with hidden fees, especially as a loyal customer. I hope they’ll be more transparent about these kinds of charges going forward.

Went for my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent, as always, but the service and atmosphere were so atrocious we couldn’t make it to dessert. It was as though they just forgot about us once our table was almost ready. Will think long and hard before we return.

Upon arrival, whoever sat us was dismissive and unattentive. I asked her name for confirmation and was never given a response. Camille as my server, she was so sweet and professional and accommodating such amazing service!!!! However- the hostess/manager???I believe her name is Elise; was pushy, and unfriendly. Luckily, my server assured we had a positive experience had a great time!!

What a fantastic find in New Orleans! There was a mix up with our reservation, but the staff was so incredibly flexible, finding a way to seat us almost immediately. The food was excellent— each person in our party of 6 raved about what they got, and the fondue and crepe we shared were divine. My partner remarked that he had never seen me clean a plate like I did here. Highly recommend!

We were optimistic but disappointed. My wife had one-note escargots and the Niçoise salad. I had a warm goat cheese salad which, to be fair, was the most flavorful thing I ate minus the sad little tomatoes.
My entree - shrimp with white wine pasta, was entirely flavorless and the shrimp were seriously overcooked. Airport quality at best, unfortunately. Lean Cuisine entrees have more flavor. The wine was lovely and our server was great. Didn’t want to be disappointed by dessert.

It's always fun when I find another truly memorable restaurant in a city like New Orleans. LA Crepe Nanou boasts ambiance, delicious food, and friendly service. It truly was, as another reviewer described it, "as close to Paris as you can get."
