The refried beans alone make this place a destination. The guac kills. The salsa and chips rate with any place. The fajita dinner is to die for. We love and miss Edwin since weoved away. La Mansion is one of the reasons to live in Carrollton.

Maybe the food was so bad because we ordered it via uber eats. I only speculate there because I work in a small business and I hate working with third parties...but if you really hate it, don’t do it. Or be really up front with the corners you’re going to cut to make it worth your while to humor the delivery service.

Never been disappointed by La Mansion. They have the best food and drinks around. Authentic cuisine and moderately priced items. Always a great time when you wanna show people their next favorite spot for food. I think I've eaten here more than any other restaurant in New Orleans, and I'm not even mad about it. Ask Eddie for a margarita and you'll fall in love. Thanks for always being my favorite guys!

The food was great. It came out fast, and the server (assuming he was the owner) was kind and helpful. Since it's the middle of the covid pandemic, there were not many people in the restaurant. Also, because it is the middle of the pandemic, I can't say how the restaurant is normally. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for Mexican food uptown.
