Very nice service staff! They did forget my order for a bit, but won me back with some really excellent chips and guac. Had the street corn and chicken burrito, both were great. The burrito comes with a mild salsa and the tortilla is pressed on the stove a bit so it was crispy and v tasty.

This place was SO YUMMY! We got the tacos, rice bowl, queso. All were delicious! We sat outside and it was a gorgeous day too!

There is so spice to this food ! It is very bland and flavorless and the front counter person wasn't very friendly. There are much better spots for similar food in new Orleans but with way more flavor packed. Won't be eating here again

On this one I kinda got major fomo. I went basic for my first time and got a chicken quesadilla. The crema was delicious as a dip and stepped up the quesadilla. I didn't feel bad about my meal until I saw the tacos, which I got to take a bite out of. Next time I'm getting tacos. That was a flavor packed messy bite and made me kick myself. One thing I don't regret is the street corn. I love street corn and this was some good street corn. Definitely don't skip out on that it's just one cob and is a great starter for whatever main you get. Will definitely be back to get those tacos and grab a marg from the bar to pair.

Food was okay, but the cook/server working there was very rude. He had an attitude when we asked a question about their sauce. Unneccessary.

Warning: the food is amazing but if you're on a date trying to impress someone there's no clean way to eat the following foods! I enjoy trying new vendors when they come to Auction House Market in an effort to not order the same thing I've eaten 5 times. I decided to check out La Mezcla this last time. I decided to go the the Elote (I dream about street corn, so I have to order it when I see it) and the three crispy beef tacos. As I said before, there is no clean way to eat this but my SO didn't bat an eye. I dug into the tacos first. The crunchy shell, refried black beans and meat topped with crema, lettuce and pico de Gallo is fantastic but MESSY. Once you bite into the taco shell the small wooden board does little to catch the mess, so a plate would be a much better option for plating in my opinion. The street corn is great, just be prepared to get some of the toppings on your face as you eat it. Will definitely try some of their other options the next time I go, especially if we have plans afterwards.

Great addition to the Auction House Market! They have super friendly staff and excellent fresh-made Mexican food. They offer Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Taco Salads and Elote, as well as a Special of the Day. I'm sure we will be back soon.

The Mexican Street Corn is only $4!! Rolled in butter, mayo, Chile-salt, cotija cheese, lime, and cilantro. Yuuuuuuuum. Usually i don't love the way corn on the cob sticks around in my teeth but I didn't want this corn to leave. I wanted it to stay as a weekend guest. For real. So good.

Gawd! I will dream about the carnita quesadilla FOREVER! If I ever find myself in NOLA again, this would definitely be a must! I tried their carnita quesadilla from their breakfast menu and WOW! It was soooo damn good! I was impressed because I'm part Mexican and I pretty much grew up eating quesadillas but let me tell you, I've never tasted such a delicious one before! The $11 quesadilla was well worth the money. It came with a genius amount of carnitas and pico de gallo. I also added frijoles and extra lettuce as extras. The salsa it comes with is a green type salsa that is not too spicy but flavorful enough.

Had the elote since this was one of the few places you can find it. It took about 20 min to get it for some reason but when I did I thought it was good but not the $4 an ear price.

Great food! Friendly people. Note: it's inside the Marketplace; At first we didn't think it was there anymore. They should make that more obvious.
