The service was great, the issue is the food had no flavor and it's overpriced.

A bit pricey but otherwise a great place. The waitress I had was a pleasure and felt genuinely nice. The sushi is fresh and tasty.Parking: The parking is small and shared. Some of it is on a angle, so wheelchair and strollers be careful.

Food was really good but kind of basic. Service was outstanding and the restaurant was very busy. The only thing was that the dining area is very open and it was quite loud.

A good sushi place with high end sushi prices. We live right in the neighborhood and been here only a few times since they've opened. The sushi is good, and their fried rice and eggrolls are fantastic. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is ok, but not memorable.Problem for us is we leave feeling like we overpaid. For example, a basic snow crab roll is $9, add in tax and tip and you're looking at $12 for a single snow crab roll. Specialty rolls end up at $25 apiece final cost. If everything on the menu were $4-5 cheaper, this would be a fantastic place to get sushi. As is, it's a convenient neighborhood sushi spot, but maybe not the best place for value-minded guests.

Picked up $82.00 worth of food: soup, two sushi rolls, yellowtail sashimi, and honey chicken. Got home, and because the hot chicken was stacked between the sushi rolls and sashimi, with a quart of hot soup on the side, the rolls and sashimi were warm. Gross: nothing like warm sushi. Had I not been caught in a severe rainstorm and flash flooding, I’d have taken it back. Instead I called to express my frustration at such a basic misstep. She asked my name so she could look at the ticket. The response: sorry, next time they’ll pack the items separately. And hung up. She could not have cared less.Next time? There won’t be one.

So delicious!!! We had the Love Boat, and 3 additional rolls along with a pineapple mojito(the only thing I would have skipped for next time), 1 bottle of plum sake and 1 bottle of another alcohol. It was $145 before tip for 3 of us but the alcohol was definitely a contributing factor and it was worth it!The raw sushi was the best I've ever had hands down. The tuna and salmon tasted like they killed and prepared it after we ordered it was that melt in your mouth fresh!!!Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten intolerance and my waitress was very friendly and helpful in getting me the information about what I could eat and separating the food accordingly!

Delicious and excellent service. A little bit on the pricey side but so is everything these days.

The food was pretty good, we ordered the basic rolls and a few special rolls. The spicy mayo was good too. What makes this review so bad was the service. The servers were nice but the food take forever. People who came 30 minutes after us received their food first. There were no water refills. The restaurant is relatively clean and the bathroom is pretty clean too. The atmosphere is good but nothing special. What stood out was we ordered an appetizer and never received it and then they tried charging us for it.

It's pretty but the food was below average in every way. Didn't taste fresh, they could use a new menus or a least cooking lessons. The staff was friendly enough and the service was prompt. As stated the ambience was nice but didn't make up for the lack of taste.

Last week, I went to Lakeview Pearl for the first time in years to celebrate my dad's birthday. We went for lunch and I was wondering how much had changed since I had last been there and honestly not much. It was still as delicious as I remember! This was my first time going for lunch and I ordered the sushi lunch bento box for $18.95. It came with a clear soup, house salad, noodle salad, two fried gyozas, a California roll, and 4 pieces of nigiri. The price for this seems kind of steep but it was definitely worth it for all of the food that you get! The sushi was fresh and delicious and I loved the noodle salad so much. We also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps were so good I could've honestly eaten that as my meal. The only thing that could possibly deter me from coming here in the future is their prices. I could go to Sake or Little Tokyo and order a crunchy roll or any basic roll for $5-$6 when at Lakeview Pearl that price is around $9-$10. I feel as though some of their food is overpriced while some is worth it, like the lettuce wraps were only $8 which to me was a steal at this place! The service was attentive and constantly checked on us. The waitress had overheard it was my dad's birthday and brought us complimentary green tea mochi and they were so yummy and unexpected! It was so sweet. I love the lakeview area so I like the location of this place as well as the atmosphere when you're inside. I will be back, but I'll definitely go there when I want to go to for a special occasion due to it being pricier.
