I recently visited the evening of Feb 15 at 6:30 with my family of 10 and encountered a hostess that was absolutely unprofessional and rude. Let me say that we ate here for lunch on Friday, Feb 13 and had a wonderful experience! We asked her for a table and was told the only table that could accommodate us was occupied but people were almost finished eating. When we could tell that they were taking a while,(25 minutes later) we asked if we could split up since there were empty tables. She exclaimed, “Absolutely not!” We were first in line at the podium She kept walking around the table, very dramatic with a large fan saying she was hot. She also told another person that she had only a half hour more of this! What hostess does this????? She leaves the podium for at least 10 minutes and no one saw here. The person behind us asked if there was even a hostess. Then, she proceeded to sit in the waiting area with obvious friends who had just walked in. She talked to them for at least 10 minutes! When she finally came back to where we were at the podium, I asked her if that was still our table since the people left and the table was cleared. She answered me, very rudely, and pointed her finger at me saying, “I told you that I would call you!” I told her she wasn’t calling anyone because we were leaving! If this is the best your restaurant can hire for a hostess, your business is in trouble. We are locals snd would have eaten here again. I can assure you that I will never eat at your restaurant again! It is very sad that tourists had to encounter her, too. What a bad impression she left! She needs to learn that customers are the ones who help pay her salary. Pathetic customer service!!!!!

Terrible service. Had to get up twice to get someone to greet us once we sat down. I was given cold, poached eggs on the “avocado toast” which was basically card board. I sent it back and she came back 3 minutes later with one of the poached eggs broken, and claiming that she made a brand new order which is impossible. We were completely invisible. I get it, it is Mardi Gras but the restaurant was basically cleared out. There was another server, skipping around singing the song “I don’t care” which I don’t blame her. lol

Had 6:30 reservation, was sat down at 7:15. Hostess was having a break down. Everyone that stepped up had to wait until she dramatically had to fan herself, take a breather, would hold her head as if she had enough. Server was good even though place was chaotic. Food was undercooked and cold. Had to send back 3 of the 4 persons food. Bad idea
landed new year’s eve and walked here from my hotel without doing much research cuz i was hungry and just wanted to eat. there was zero wait (around 8pm) but they were pretty busy inside but still a few empty tables.
service was good, food came in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. liked my drink as well.
4 ⭐️ because the beignets were mushy inside.
i’m back home now and still think about that catfish 🤤

Nice looking place. Food was just ok, typical bar food.
But the service was about as bad as it gets. We had a larger party and it was absolute chaos trying to pay to get out of there.
No manager in sight.

We had a very poor experience due to rude service. The host rolled her eyes at us when we walked in, making us feel unwelcome. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to come over. When she did, she abruptly handed out waters and asked what we wanted to eat. She then snatched the menu from in front of me right after I finished my order and later pointed at our table while talking to the cook. We received rude looks and poor manners throughout our visit. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Went for brunch with my friends and the staff was so rude. The host gave us an attitude when we said we had a reservation and rolled her eyes and made us wait at the door for over 10 minutes, then she did not show us to our table she pointed and made us walk ourselves. The waitress took 15 mins to greet us and did not ask what we wanted to drink. She gave us waters and said “ what do you want to eat”. I have never been treated so horribly in my life going to a restaurant. I will never recommend anyone going here. I wish I could give this establishment a 0 star rating.

We had a great experience with our server and our food! I would definitely eat here again.
We had a last-minute order for our daughter‘s bridal shower on a Saturday morning. Jonathan and crew came through so quickly and efficiently. The waffles were a big hit for her bridal brunch and I will definitely be back.

Walking in, we were able to immediately get the attention of the hostess, Tracy, who went out of her way to re-print an updated reservations list for us. That was where the great service ended.
After being seated, it took 45 minutes to get the attention of any waiter/waitress to place an order, and another 15 minutes to ask for water for the table. We had to physically go up to what seemed like the floor manager to ask for water. The waiter was extremely rude - one of our party was kindly waving to try to get his attention to order (after 40 minutes of being seated), and he mockingly put his arm up to wave back, then joked with the table he was next to that he had no idea what we wanted, that we were the ones being rude, and that he should “go and see what they want”. It would have been fine if he came over, but he never did.
After placing our order, it was 45 minutes before getting our first dish, and another 15-20 before we got the rest. The crab cakes were really good! The tacos were a bit small but also pretty good. Chicken sandwich was tough and chewy, the shrimp po’boy needed a lot of Tabasco to add flavor. Fries were good, but warm at most.
Overall, we were there for over 2 hours. Disappointed to say the least.

Good food with a variety of options. Time of day we went was relatively quiet. Brussel sprouts and catfish were our favorites.
