Arrived with just over 10 minutes before closing and asked for desert to go. The dining room host told us he could not seat us, but we could get the order to go from the bar. We then waited 5 minutes for the bartender, who told us the kitchen was closed. As we walked out we could see the two of them laughing next to the kitchen door. In a city full of amazing restaurants, this is NOT one we would recommend or go to again.

Jenna did an amazing job. We visited twice while she was in the bar. Great job, timely and friendly. Makes an amazing mock tail! Thanks for all the recommendations!

I had the red fish and my date had chicken and waffles. Both were great. Service was a bit slow but staff friendly so I didn’t mind. I would definitely eat here again. I enjoyed my dinner. Asparagus could have been shown a little more love by the chef but that is a minor complaint. All was great! Try this place if you want a good plate of food and order what we ordered.

4.5 starsA very good meal at Craft Tavern. Our server was great and patient with us as we chose our meal-attentive but not overbearing. The place was large and one part undergoing renovation but the eating area was clean. We had spinach dip appetizer which I thought was okay but my mates thought was great. We had the shrimp po boy, red snapper, short ribs, and gumbo with fries. The gumbo was not hot but was very flavorful. The fish seemed to be a hit and the asparagus was flavored probably the best I have had. The fries were also a hit and my short rib was flavorful with a very large portion of mashed potatoes. The crayfish cornbread was also very good. Overall a very good meal.

Such a great find for a quick lunch! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I got in just in time to get the Crawfish and egg beignets and they were awesome! The only downside is that they are currently renovating so it was a little loud at times.

Awful Easter experience!! From the renovations everywhere to microwaved old chicken for the salad. We made reservations that obviously weren’t reservations, i could go on, just do your self a favor and save your money.

Don’t go here if you need to split your bill. They told me that they do not do that. That wasn’t going to work and they told me there wasn’t anything they can do. Good thing that we knew before we ordered. Then we left. Lots of other great restaurants nearby.

The bartender was awesome but the kitchen and wait staff served me with a direct allergy that I told them I have and explicitly told them it can kill me. They made a new bun but the crab cake had been contaminated already and they served it back to me a second time. They took it back a second time and didn’t bother comping or even expediting the meal. We lost out on evening activities because of the incompetence and uncaring cavalier attitudes. 0/10 recommendation due to health and safety practices.

Rodents inside the restaurant....:/Service is okay but friendly. Fries and salad were pretty good. Overall wouldn't come back because of the rodents!!

Informed right away that my husband had a severe pickle allergy. Waitress told us they don't carry anything with dill in the restaurant. His food showed up with two huge dill pickles right on top of the hamburger buns. The bartender not the waitress came by we explained and she said she would handle it. The cooks decided they were going to just replace the top buns and not the crab cakes the middle even though they had been contaminated with dill because there's was a skewer connecting them together. Informed manager what was going on he did replace the order in a timely manner. Our original waitress never returned to our table at all. Wouldve been nice to see some compassion knowing you almost caused a deadly reaction. The bartender took over our needs. She was great. Had to quickly scarf food due to a carriage ride appt didn't get to finish. They charged us the full bill. Beware to those people with allergies. Employees are not trained on how to address nor do they seem to care.

Beware of rodents!! While seated in the bar area, we watched a mouse run from behind the bar under the nearby couches. When I called the manager over to let him know about the situation, he ran through several excuses, became defensive, said they were working on the problem, developed an attitude when I objected to the idea of running a restaurant with a persistent rodent problem, and then walked away from our table after saying, "Thank you so much. Perfect." I definitely won't be returning.
