Buy 2 loafs a week at CAINS in Albany . Today the loafs were about 10 inches shorter then normal . And the ends are hard as rocks .Is this going to be the size from now on ? If not then you all need to get with your Quality control . Hope this goes back the way it was . Don't care for the in store baked bread .
I was uptown visiting my sister and passed by here.Back in the day when I wanted to use Daddy's car ,I would pick him up from work and would drop by here and they would have the bread hot and ready when we came. Once we got home, we added a little Parkay butter, and oooh wee dinner would be so good .
The colonel was the best dad in the neighborhood. All the kids looked up to my parents because they loved everyone. Good memories
, yall, be blessed!

As a child, I'd eagerly anticipate the moment my fresh French loaf would be placed at the doorstep of the timeworn Italian bakery, where the aroma of freshly baked bread always drew me in, teaching me what a truly excellent baguette should be.
A true French bread is all about airy lightness, a delicate crumb, and a subtle taste - not some dense, heavy loaf that needs a knife to break apart. There are many fine bakers in the New Orleans area, and some are truly magnificent....
