Food is very good, well seasoned, with chunks of ham and pork, sausage, plenty enough food to fill you up. I had the every monday southern meal, red beans and rice, with a smoothered porkchop, and a side of french bread. Taste was good, price was below 15 dollars with tax, and more than enough food on the plate to have it to go! The area is not great, but its close to alot of bussinesses and close to St Charles ave. Over all, i will be back to try other hot food plates they will have later on. Their AC might not work well, but hopefully they ll fix it soon, bc these dog days of summer is pretty brutal.

Yummy and cheap
Food was ok. Service was excellent friendly. The place needs to be deep cleaned and decluttered.

Mr. Leo and krewe always have something good to eat. From home cooked hot plates to griddled pancakes to fried oyster sandwiches. You can’t go wrong. Support small business! Eat at the Caboose.

Awesome small lil food shop. Was told to try their gumbo with extra gizzards. Very nice broth and it wasn't seasoned too much, very subtle and quaint. I would definitely eat here again, and enjoy the other flavors they may have. Staff is very friendly. And their chairs got cushions🥰

Ordered shrimp on a bun with large fries. Friendly employees. My meal was excellent. The lady asked if I wanted seasoning on the fries. She got me. Great folks that work there. I would go back there again because the food is spot on. And you pay for what you get. Please continue to support Leo's caboose in the neighborhood.

I really enjoyed having lunch at Leo’s Caboose. The place is not large and the atmosphere is certainly not fancy, but there is a good feel about the place. The people here are very friendly and make sure every customer is served promptly. The food is good, with daily specials and a variety of sandwiches. Good food to takeout or eat in.

A quaint little place and maybe I should have ordered a special of the day, but I got grilled chicken salad. Very disappointed. About an inch and a half of romaine lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes and pickles. The chicken was tasty, but the ingredients could have been better. Cheap Italian dressing.

Great mom and pop hole in the wall. I live not too far away and walk here once or twice a week. Super friendly staff with generous portions at a fair price. Breakfast is your standard fare with your eggs cooked to order and great daily lunch specials.
