Perhaps the best bakery/pastry place I’ve ever been to (and I’m from Montreal!). The chefs here have mastered laminated pastries and the flavour combinations are unique and thoughtful. I hesitate to share this widely because I want to gatekeep a place this good but it should be praised for how awesome it is! Major kudos to the whole team!

Outstanding pastries, biscuit sandwich was super delicious. The pumpkin cinnamon roll was impulse purchased on sight alone, I'm glad that I didn't resist the impulse. Super friendly and engaging staff inviting their locals by name and welcoming visitors with equal enthusiasm. The space is comforting and inviting, tall ceilings, brick walls, hard wood table tops. Definitely on the list for future stops.

Levee is so clearly the best bakery in the city. From the sweet items to the savory things like the breakfast sandwiches or sausage rolls, they really are just the very best. They use fresh, seasonal ingredients that taste like they were harvested that morning. The technical excellence in their baked goods is up there with the best in the country. Just a fantastic staple, long may it reign.
