I'm so glad they are back! I love this as a lunch option in MidCity. They have a great mission and their food is good, a win win! And personally, I'm ecstatic they brought back their black bean burger.

Such a charming cafe from the staff, the murals and the food. I had the patty melt and must say it was the best burger I've had in the city. It was cooked perfectly. I love the story behind this place too. Everyone should check it out! Thank you staff for being rock stars!

Place is closed down. Yelp should update this post. Been closed since pandemic but shows open in yelp

Good place to have a bite to eat for a quick breakfast or lunch. Teaches young people how to cook, service folk and how to work in a cafe or restaurant setting.

Their company taught my fiance to cook and he's serving raw chicken and doesn't even know how to cook pasta. Is this honestly the best they can do???

I was so pleasantly surprised by the tasty and creative options! And I’m contributing to some good— this non-profit provides workforce training to individuals who normally don’t have any opportunities!

A simple work lunch turned into one of the most care-free dining experiences I've had in New Orleans. Our host, server and all-around Star Gioia embodies everything you'd want in a dining experience. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was sensational! It came with a perfect side salad that was tossed in a seasonal vinaigrette. If you're in the Lafitte Greenway corridor or near Whole Foods on Broad please stop in and enjoy a wonderful meal. Gioia and Da'Mon are truly masters of their craft. Not only was the service great; they handled coffee orders and dessert also. We will definitely be returning soon!
