The restaurant decor has changed since we last visited. The dining area is smaller and less “eclectic “ than in years past. Although more “bistro like, “ I miss the old look. The food is still good and overall, it's still has some of its charm.

Absolutely some of the best paella we've ever tasted! Found this place on a fluke, after visiting NOLA for many times over the years. So sorry we didn't discover it sooner! We've traveled to Spain, and the paella at Lola's leaves the paella from Spain it its dust! Great cozy atmosphere, and awesome food. You can order different sizes of paellas, based on how many are in your party. Excellent service, and prices are very reasonable! Definitely make a reservation!

Everything about Lola's is exceptional! From the food, to the staff, to the warm and welcoming setting. Our dinners were delicious! The food taste so fresh and unique!  The cocktails were also to die for! Lola‘s has been a favorite restaurant of ours for years and we keep coming back!

We originally reguest inside but it was too cold for my party of 5. The team there went above and beyond to accommodate us and placed us outside on the alley way because the other outside seat were reserved.

Unfortunately, besides our great server and delicious dishes, my experience was not great. The hostess was a bit dismissive and insisted our reservation didn't exist even when we showed the receipt, which meant we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the beautiful New Orleans fall weather like we had reserved. Inside, the restaurant was freezing and then got so smoky from the open kitchen that our eyes burned. The tables were tiny and our giant menus knocked everything over. Portions are very small for the price, both for drinks and food.

Lola's is a lovely, comfortable atmosphere, with outstanding service and delicious food, all at a reasonable price. We had the Crabmeat Tropical - as delicious to eat as it was beautiful to look at, the garlic mushrooms, the gazpacho and Seafood Paella. It's difficult to pick a 'favorite'. Everything was absolutely perfectly prepared and delightful. I also have to compliment the awesome service we received. On a scale of 1-10, she was a 20! I highly recommend Lola's for an exceptional experience.
