Owners are horribly rude and food tastes like frozen garbage.

We went for lunch yesterday and had a salad, a sandwich and two soft drinks. The bill was $ 50 I included a tip, but I learned that a tip was not necessary because there was no service whatsoever. It took a half hour for the food to be prepared and there was one person ahead of us. My wife asked for more dressing for her salad because it was dry and was toldthat it would be $1.50 for extra dressing. We used to love this place, but it is really gone down and Customer Service is not in their vocabulary.

The food is always good and the waffles are the best. Love that French Truck coffee.

It's hard to put stock in a 5 year old review but in May 2025, this place is as good as it's ever been. In addition to the coffee and waffles, the pressed sandwichs are also delicious.

I’ve only ever had coffee. Which is delicious. Great atmosphere. Great location.

Wouldn’t normally leave a review but had a rude experience with the staff here. I ordered a sandwich with ham and cheese only on it and I specifically told the woman taking my order ham and cheese only and she said got it! I get my sandwich after 20 minutes and it was fully dressed. I politely went to the younger guy working the counter and asked if they could fix it and this older gentlemen that was in the kitchen area not by the counter rudely yells across “did you read the description on the menu where it says what comes on it?” I then replied “yes, that’s why I said ham and cheese only.” He then went to argue with me again saying she didn’t have it on the ticket so I must’ve not made it clear and then another younger girl behind the counter said “No, I heard her tell her she must’ve just not written it down.” I hate even going back to say that it was wrong, but my bill for a coffee and sandwich was $24 and he didn’t have to argue with me in front of 13 other people in the small restaurant.

Absolute best place for a casual brunch or lunch spot in Nola! Perfect for when there’s good weather and you want to chill with some friends. Staff is also very friendly and the food never misses!

Had to wait an hour for coffee because of crowds from mardi gras, but we were not informed how long the wait would be. Really frustrating experience, do not come here.

Food was delicious, honestly soooo good. But it was NOT worth $65 (everything you see in the picture was $65). Atmosphere was super cute, the employees were friendly. I got the Carolina BBQ sliders and the portion just looked so small. And then it came with rosemary chips? So did my husbands’ Cuban sandwich. We’re Cuban and that mix does not belong together lol. We paid $6 for the tiny cup of orange juice. Luckily, it was fresh squeezed and tasted delicious. We most likely will not be returning because we can’t justify spending that much for the actual amount of food we received.

Yeah we're not gonna forget the constant gas lighting of employees from the employers. Would rate 0 if possible.

We were recommended to try this place by a friend and we are always looking for new places to try. We had sandwiches, I had the Cuban and my wife had a vegetarian sandwich. The sandwiches are a bit pricey, Although, we dont mind price if it means good quality. Both sandwiches were flavorful, but both severely lacked the "meat" of the sandwiches. My Cuban may have had 3oz of meat on the whole thing if I was lucky. My wife's sandwich was just vegetables and even that was halfway filled. Unfortunate for the price.

Been here 5 or 6 times now. I've had a growing opinion on this little spot. Initially, I liked it. Food is pretty good when I'm not waiting for 45+ minutes for my order on a weekday afternoon and my coffee grows cold. Since COVID, food quality seems to be on a gradual decline along with this business. You get charged for virtually everything here, coffee refills no exception, regardless of whether it will be dumped out in another hour or two anyways. Want an extra sauce? That'll be another three dollars please. And no doubt you would be able to taste the store bought preservatives in those 5$ muffins. Oh, and I quickly noticed that the employee overturn here is crazy. They all look miserable. The insane prices, coupled with the insincere attitudes of the owners and a quick google search of their names, I was quickly able to put together the picture. Take a look at how they acted over at Zeke's before it shut down. Anyone with eyes and a brain begins to stay away from here after a good couple of visits. I'll give it another 4 or 5 years, give or take. In the meantime, I can get my breakfast sandwich and coffee anywhere else, for much cheaper, with the assurance that I'm supporting good and genuine people.

One of the best places in Uptown to have breakfast and brunch. They have great options of sandwiches and other dishes. Our all time favorite is the “shrimp and grits”. I’ve tried grits in other places in New Orleans Luca has the best one! Also, it is located in a chill neighborhood!

This place was underwhelming to say the least. Sandwich was small and very little meat on it and was boring. Oreo beignets were ok. It was way too expensive for what you get too. Cute place but I wouldn’t go back unless maybe it was just for coffee.

They are the rudest owners....I just realized that they are the same idiots that ruined Zekes place. Let's see how long it takes them to ruin this one.....

Wheelchair accessibility: They didn't like that I was in a wheelchair and told me I had to leave.... which inspired me to look up their names and well.....now we are here.
