Food was good but I waited 50 minutes for a single order of beignets, I wouldn't say it was worth waiting that long. I was also visibly in line to order and the staff let a group of 6 that came in 7 minutes after me cut in front and order first.

Food is sub par and overpriced. My meal was not worth $73 usd. Fish was frozen.

The brunch was delicious, we ordered for my daughter’s wedding day and it was a big hit with all the bridesmaids.

The owner even came out to say hello and great our dogs. They also had water bowls for them.

Luca eats is the best! I come here frequently whenever I’m home from college and it’s great everytime. I normally get a BEC or an apples and Brie sandwich with a strawberry matcha. The employees are always kind and write cute messages on the sandwich boxes. I’ll be back in the summer!!!

I came in earlier today with my sister, and the older blonde woman working in the kitchen was instantly annoyed the moment she saw us with an outside drink. What bothered me is that I saw other people there with their own outside drinks, but she didn’t say a word to them she only singled us out. While I was about to place my order, she raised her voice in front of everyone and said, “You can take your order, but you cannot stay here at all.” Her tone was harsh and completely unnecessary, like she was trying to embarrass us. My sister and I are Hispanic, and the way she spoke to us and looked at us felt dismissive, rude, and like we weren’t welcome there. It came across as targeted and discriminatory. At that point I just turned to my sister and said, “let’s go somewhere else. They don’t need a single penny from us.”

As an Uber Eats driver who’s been delivering in New Orleans for years, I’ve been to Luca Eats multiple times — and every visit has been the same: long, unnecessary wait times of 15–20 minutes or more.
I came again today, October 30th, and while the front cashier was really sweet and professional, the two cooks in the back were not working diligently to get orders prepared. Instead, they were chit-chatting about things unrelated to work, even as tickets were waiting. That kind of behavior directly causes delays for both dine-in customers and delivery drivers.
It’s disappointing because this place has potential and good food, but the lack of urgency and accountability from the kitchen staff ruins the experience. I’ve given this restaurant plenty of chances over the years, hoping things would improve — but nothing has changed.
Unfortunately, this will be my last time coming here until management addresses these issues and starts treating timely service as a priority.

Visited the United States for the first time, and I am pleased to say that this establishment in particular blew my mind away. For context, I watched Gordon Ramsey’s reality television series “Kitchen Nightmares”, and I learnt that the owners of the restaurant featured in the particular episode also owned Luca’s! Also learnt that before opening, one of the owners Ellen just had a bout with cancer, and had luckily triumphed through that said battle. Because of this, I was really rooting for them, and they delivered with the food.

I ordered my food online and it was ready 40 minutes after it said it would be online. Sandwich came and it looked like someone threw it together. I honestly have not had this bad of a dining experience in a very long time.
Waited an hour and a half for my food. Food was mid at best. The staff wasn’t even apologetic nor did they offer me anything.
I can't say enough about how friendly and genuine my interactions with Ellen at Luca Eats has been. She's responsive and so kind. Our catering order was a hit - we got the Big Luca, a delicious Caesar, veggie tray and the chips!! The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone loved it. I love supporting small businesses like Luca Eats. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer.
