I reviewed a few other comments before making mine, I see that my concerns are an ongoing problem here. The bar tenders were extremely intoxicated. Rude beyond measure. Between the fights, sketchy drug dealers and slight racist undertone... This is not somewhere I recommend that visitors come during your travels unless that's what you're looking for.

Everytime I come in here. I live in the neighborhood. The bartenders are always rude lazy and just loaded . I get it . But the rudeness is just ridiculous. You are a bartender . If you hate your job so much go to college . Pos .

Most best bar in New Orleans! My boyfriend fingered me in one of the booths and the bartender didn't even care. Very chill atmosphere with cheap prices.

Only go here if you are down with and enjoy dive bars. Some people love them (go), some people hate them (stay away). They do serve food (burgers and chicken strips), but we declined when the cook seems to have a runny nose condition. Hope she's feeling better soon. Beer was cold. Ice water was also good.

This is a great looking, neighborhood bar, welcoming from the outside. Walking in, the decor is great. I know the service industry is tough and bar staff maybe even have it tougher but this was one of the coldest, non-caring receptions I have ever received. Tried to make some pleasant conversation but it wasn’t happening. Maybe she was having a bad morning, just very atypical of normal New Orleans local bars.

Vegetarian options: Primarily light bar fare

Dietary restrictions: Make the staff aware of any restrictions before ordering

Parking: Free street parking and paid lot in vicinity. Streetcar is more convenient

Kid-friendliness: Bar, likely an age restriction

Wheelchair accessibility: Did not appear accessible, steps up to entrance

Bartender wouldn't serve us because my wife's ID was expired. We're clearly in our 40s. He blamed Jazz Fest. Ok little buddy. I walked a couple doors down and got served without getting ID'd.....like literally every single other place we went to and literally every single place we've been going to for the better part of 10 years.....because we're CLEARLY of age by any metric.

Bartender was not friendly a all. Even cracked a joke to brighten the mood but she just blankly stared at me with a slight grimace like it hurt her. Unfortunate used to be an awesome joint.

Unlucky bar!
