24hr, largely sin (service industry), bar with the locals? Yes, please. Literally everyone from every background was in there mixing it up. Sometimes someone's had a rough shift and this is their home and respite, sure, but if it's here for everyone then it's here for that too. Looking forward to seeing my new family again next time <3

This is a great looking, neighborhood bar, welcoming from the outside. Walking in, the decor is great. I know the service industry is tough and bar staff maybe even have it tougher but this was one of the coldest, non-caring receptions I have ever received. Tried to make some pleasant conversation but it wasn’t happening. Maybe she was having a bad morning, just very atypical of normal New Orleans local bars.

Lucky's is my go to neighborhood bar when in uptown New Orleans. One can spend a good time watching the streetcar and folks go by while enjoying reasonably priced beer or a stiff cocktail. I didn't eat there, but they used to serve a mean burger!
