The service took a while, we had a late dinner. It the food is great. We had the Rabbit, pork, shrimp and grits and bouillabaisse are excellent. But the gumbo … DO NOT ORDER THE GUMBO. Luke’s gumbo taste like dirt. They should be embarrassed to have that on the menu.

The shrimp and grits here is amazing. The cheesy jalapeno grits made the dish with flavourful shrimp and sauce atop. Might be the best grits I've ever had. The bone marrow was a bit disappointing in flavours. It needs some seasoning and refinement. My partner got the Bouillabaisse which looked great but we feel the dish needs rice instead of bread to really get that sauce. To end, we got the bread pudding which was delicious. I wish I stopped the waiter before he poured the entire serving of caramel sauce on top as I tend to prefer my desserts less sweet. Nonetheless it was great and the added pecans was a nice touch. I also tried the blackberry cocktail which was disappointing. The cocktail tasted alright but it was not cold enough and clearly had not been chilled or shaken with ice. I would skip the cocktails here. Service was friendly and attentive. The place is lacking AC (or maybe it was off) so it can get a touch warm.

Amazing service despite us being in there on a busy night. Excellent cocktails. Delicious food. Shrimp and oysters all delicious. We tried a variety of food and several rounds of oysters and tasted each others dishes. ALL delicious!! Our servwe was also awesome in recommending beers amd cocktails to pair with our food. Very knowledgeable about oysters and menu. We will return on our next visit. Wish we found Luke sooner! (Our server (sorry I lost reciept with name on it) female, dark hair, amazing, worked well with the team of people on with her who she was training (lots of colorful pens in pocket)

I was very disappointed with the service. We came during happy hour, and ordered first a drink. They waiter came 5 time asking us what we wanted to eat. We took something from the « to share » menu since it was only 4:30pm. The waiter came again asking us if we wanted something else. When we finished our plate, he came directly with the check without us asking for it. We weren’t finish, but we left after drink number two. We felt not welcome and oppressed. The crawfish bred was really good though.

Luke is a great little French restaurant situated in the Central Business District just south of French Quarter. My wife and I went for lunch and we decided to go all in and try a couple of traditional French items we had never had.We ordered three items from the "To Share" section of the menu. Here's what we ordered:1) Patê of Louisiana Rabbit and Chicken Liver2) Crispy Brussels Sprouts3) Escargot & Bone Marrow4) Saison du Pont (beer from Belgium)I have to say, neither my wife nor myself enjoyed the patê. To be fair, this stuff looked legit. I'm confident this was excellent quality and it just turns out we aren't patê people. The sprouts were fantastic and I was a huge fan of the accompanying sweet pepper sauce. Bone marrow is always amazing, and this was no exception. We enjoyed the escargot and it paired quite well with the marrow and the grilled bread served with the dish.Service was excellent, food was great quality, and we were in and out pretty quickly. Definitely recommended if authentic French food is what you're looking for.

Amazing service, delicious high-quality food, and a great location slightly away from all the hustle and bustle. This is a fantastic restaurant! Every single thing my group of 12 people ordered was great. We all left full and happy. I highly recommend the Buttered Crawfish Bread and the cake. We didn’t think we had room for dessert, but this cake was the best cake I have ever eaten. Every crumb was eaten.

Pretty good food. I was not wowed by anything, and I definitely think you can get better quality food in a smaller mom&pop environment, but I’d go back for sure.We started with some cocktails that were pretty good, not too crazy. The entree platters were surprisingly big. I did not get to try them but my friends enjoyed. I had the gumbo and Peruvian scallop which were both tasty. Not wow, but good. 8.5/10. They also brought my friend a little dessert for her birthday which was so sweet! A burger was also ordered along with shrimp and grits, a bisque, and halibut I believe. I tried the shrimp and grits and it was GOOD. That stole the show for me. Overall not my favorite place for creole food, but still worth a visit.

This must be a popular place as it was busy for a Monday night!!!I found the trout amandine very underwhelming. It was prepared well but it wasn’t filling or flavorful. The Parmesan Red Potatoes blew my mind though. I never tasted such a deliciously prepared side dish.Service and atmosphere were great with a relaxed fine dining vibe.

Luke is worth a try. Easy accessible location in the Hilton with amble room throughout.A very helpful and friendly staff awaits and attends throughout your experience.Menu is not expansive but has a variety of options and all tantalizing and worth a view.My son and I stopped in and we tried the Shrimp and Grits, Mahi Mahi and bread pudding and it was all delicious.Price is a little high for the portions and such (in my opinion) but worth it nonetheless.
